Liked Magical solo camping spot! Coast and Camplight near Whitby was pure perfection for a solo tent trip. Incredible views over Whitby Abbey and the sea, totally peaceful and off-grid, with wildlife and proper dark skies for stargazing. Clean basic facilities, and Whitby is close when you want it. Friendly hosts and great value. Love the honesty shop, One of my favourite camping experiences – highly recommend! Going back again soon.

Liked Great solo tent spot! Had a brilliant peaceful stay at Gripps Farm Campsite in Brotton. Spacious grass pitches with lovely countryside views and friendly farm animals nearby. Perfect for solo camping – quiet and relaxing. Easy walks to Skinningrove beach and the Cleveland Way, plus Brotton village (pubs/shops) is only 10 minutes away. Basic but clean facilities, friendly hosts, and excellent value. Highly recommended – I’ll be back!
