Liked The site is lovely. Great location for walks and bike rides.

Disliked The part-time wardens are lovely and made us feel very welcome. However, the site manager who is there 5 out of 7 days is pretty arrogant and full of self importance. That said, don't let him put you off as its a lovely place to stay for a break :)

Liked Plenty of space, friendly owners and good location. Well kept Relaxed atmosphere Allowed to use BBQ

Disliked 1. Needing to use an app for electric hook up and not been able to get remaining credit back. 2. Lack of local info. A notice board or similar with some information would be helpful. 3. Needing to undo padlock everytime you enter/exit (even as a pedestrian).

Liked Pitch sizes

Disliked Indoor soft play closes at 5 when the arcade remains open. It should stay open as parents care for their children and no staff required. Pool closes to early too. Kids entertainment in the evening too full on, too fast and simply annoying. Sometimes less is more? Public toilets in main entertainment area never cleaned and were disgusting. Not enough bar staff as cueing for 30 mins for a drink is unacceptable.

Liked The location was ok. The field flat with no issues to speak of - the facilities were generally kept clean. Our issue was the owners. They don't care for the visitors at all! They are arrogant, rude and dismissive. They want your money not your opinions it seams. For this reason, I'd not recommend you stay at this site. If you do, be warned of the unpleasant response you may get from the owners!!

From the manager: It is always a shame to get a nasty review.I can assure my customers that my helpers and myself are happy to answer any questions or give advice as to local attractions. This is a very rural campsite and I like to let visitors enjoy the countryside without intrusion.
