Powered grass site
Liked Lovely area, with some beautiful walks. Fab butchers shop with the most amazing Toulouse sausage! Staff very friendly. Usual amenities, although a bit basic (particle board shower and loo cubicles etc) but they suit the purpose.
Disliked Chemical waste difficult to use as you have to lift your cartridge to quite a height. Also, no hose next to it for rinsing it out. I couldn't manage it so we just used a camping loo for our stay and emptied it into the toilets.

Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Very friendly owners. The plots were a good size, so you didn't feel hemmed in. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of nice walks and convenient for touring around the area, although a car is a necessity if you want to visit towns and villages like Lyme Regis, Sidmouth or Beer. The toilet and shower block was spotless.
Disliked The ground was pretty difficult to get our awning (very sturdy) pegs in to, so bring a strong arm with you!

Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site (adults only)
Liked This small site was lovely and clean, with good facilities. The shower and loo block was spotless. The area is very peaceful, and it was lovely to wake to the sound of birds (even though an owl hooting at night set our poor puppy off howling! 😊) We were surprised that for most of our stay, we were the only people using the pitches, so it was indeed really quiet. Definitely a little gem!
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
