Liked We stayed at New Lodge Farm for our first ever camping trip and I can't help feel it'll be downhill from now, will anywhere else come up to their standard?
Our stay was so calm and peaceful.
The toilets/showers were spotless and well appointed.
The washing up area, again, spotless and well equipped.
The enclosed dog walking field - perfect to let our two Border Terriers burn off some of their energy.
The ales, the croissants, the pizzas..it was all so lovely.
We WILL be back!

Liked Proximity to nature, birdsong, ducks, bunnies, alpacas, the view. The walks along the river are incredible!
Disliked Not all hardstanding pitches have their own water and they're not all level.

Liked Facilities, including the lovely showers and the kitchen (including washing machine). Easy access to bus to Buxton and Bakewell. Top tip: dobby bother walking to the official bus stop up the road. The bus will stop on the road by the campsite.
Disliked Road noise, pitches 3 to 8 are badly positives in terms of sun light. They are the closest to the road and are right by the trees meaning those pitches do not get the afternoon out evening sun. Pitches 1, 2, 9 - 11 seemed to get lovely afternoon sun. Was a bit like having a holiday in a car park.
