Streamside unpowered grass tent site
Liked The campsite is in a beautiful location with a small river and lovely hills surrounding it, making it a peaceful place to stay.
Disliked Dislike:
The man known as "Mr Happy" was quite rude and not helpful. He mostly talked about campsite licence rules instead of assisting guests.
The toilets:
were a long walk from the campsite, and there were only two very small men's cubicles. They were often dirty, and the space was so narrow that my knees touched the door when sitting down.
Horses:
There were also many horses nearby for riding, so there was often a strong smell of horse manure, especially on windy days.
Grass:
The camping pitches had long grass and were not level, so it was uncomfortable to sleep and we kept rolling during the night.
