Pitch was well cared for .. tidy and laid out well .. pub had amazing food ..owner very friendly and helpful
Easy to find great location

I have facilities on my caravan.. toilet and shower.. so the only one toilet and shower didn’t bother us at all .. but if you had many camper vans.. could be a bit of a wait

Very Clean Site with good hard standing gravel.

waste and water disposal available on site but had to lift manhole cover. Some road and railway noise, but not all night.

Closeness to quiet country lanes to ride bikes.
Excellent meal in Thames Head Inn (and on a Monday when a lot of places are closed!)

Pub on doorstep! Lovely food. Quiet. EHU. Toilet and shower available.

Nothing to dislike though if it was full only having one toilet and shower in same room might be an issue.

Lovely quiet site very convenient for visiting local area. Pub is very welcoming with reasonably priced bar meals, and they have a dog friendly area for meals.

Not really a criticism as it wasn't a problem but there is only one toilet and shower for the campsite. It was warm and clean however.

Level stoned pitches and the small was big enough for our VW. Pub a minute walk away was fabulous- amazing value food and service was great.

Unfortunately too much wasn't great for us to come back.

Next to a main road and train track but does quieten at night - but no use for chilling during the day

Our pitch backed onto someone garden who was doing renovations! Exactly what we had come away to escape from !

Facilities are just a bit too limited - one toilet and shower- clean (ish) but not great - for ten pitches meant spent 20 minutes waiting for a wee in the morning.

No washing up facilities, and tiny toilet is no good for washing face etc.

All ok if you have these facilities in your caravan but not for a small VW.

Was a bit disappointed but if it's a one night stay for a night in the pub it's ok.

Large gravel level pitch, clean toilet facilities, view of the beautiful countryside. Lovely walk over the farming land with our dog.

Facility was very well presented and clean the motor home bays had plenty of space with electrical hook up. Opposite the campsite is a beautiful restaurant/bar which served delicious food at a reasonable price.
The area is very rural even though it was next to a train track had a very peaceful night.
Will definately be returning in the next couple of months. Would recommend booking ahead for food as it gets really busy.

The only downside it had 1 shower with toilet.
