Lovely pitch close to the pub. Warm welcome from the staff and we enjoyed a delicious meal. Definitely recommend and we would go back when we’re next in the area.

Single shower and toilet in the same room, so if shower was in use you couldn't use the toilet and vice versa. But at least the facility was available..

Toilet door hard to close so anxious re walking in ! Clean and super so a minor thing but wouldn’t want to embarrass anyone !

Felt very unwelcome on this, our second visit.

I enquired about breakfast - not available to campers, only to people staying in the Inn. As other reviewers have suggested, even offering breakfast rolls - perhaps ordered in advance - would be a hospitable gesture.

But what made me feel uncomfortable was a sign in the foyer proclaiming that MPs of a particular Political Party are not welcome. As I am a member of that Party I felt unwelcome by association as it were and couldn't fully relax and enjoy dinner. Much as I liked the place on our first visit a few months ago, after this experience I doubt we will return.

Other points:
Shower room was grubby so we used our own facilites.
Road noise can be intrusive.

Small friendly site with great pub next door ..serving fabulous food.

The shower room ...could do with an upgrade and separate male and female toilet .
