The simplicity of this campsite. One big field for camping, but with everything you need to make camping life easier. Clean toilets and showers, communal washing up area. Plenty of fridge/freezer space.
The views are amazing, and if the weather was better I can imagine the sunset views are beautiful. Perfect for stargazing!
I loved how much space there was. Loads of room for the kids to run around, play cricket etc without bothering people.
Even on the August bank holiday weekend, the place wasn't over flowing. There's space to be able to keep yourself private if you wish, but also room to pitch up in groups.
Louise, the owner, is so helpful, friendly and approachable.
The kids can feed some of the animals on the farm at certain times, and they have a little pop up shop in the morning where you can buy essentials. We will definitely be back

Hi,
Apologies, but i don not offer Wifi at our site as we are on the end of a telephone exchange with a copper wiring hence our broadband speeds are reminiscent of dial up internet connections ..... if i offered that then i would deserve a minus score....
The photos of our site show that we are a family campsite that offers swings and a slide with a big open field for children to play in. There is also the opportunity to feed the lambs and chickens, if children and or adults wish to take part.
I apologise if you did not like my approach of greeting you at check in and then leaving you to it, unless you let me know that you have a problem.
I disagree with your comments on cleanliness, as you can see from the other reviews i have high standards, so i am tempted to think that you have me mixed up with another campsite.
