The facilities were good.

Absolutely no communication from the owner of the land. Got there and he directed us on to our pitch, told him I was expecting my parents in a motorhome which I'd booked on pitchup. He then went on to ask how big the motorhome was but when you book on pitchup it asks you the size of the caravan/motorhome..
My parents then arrived and as the owner had already told me we're they were going I didn't think they needed to go to reception, so told them to come straight to the site we was staying.. cut a long story short the motorhome got grounded in the mud due to it being so wet, the owner comes over with absolute attitude towards us all about the fact they have got stuck..
He finally got over that and exceeded to help us out then to level the motorhome etc, which came to us leaving on outast day and the owner came over layed wood down to get the motorhome out only on the one side..
No communication to any of us that he wants to put anything on the other side of the van so we proceeded to move the van..
Which got stuck again in the mud, the owner then said to my father watch you don't put your back out picking up those bits of wood (being sarcastic) which my father is due to have 2 knee replacements!! How rude!!
I can honestly say I will NEVER BE VISITING THE SITE AGAIN!!
I have never been made to feel this way on a site I my life.. we are more than happy to help anyone, but there we had nothing but rudeness from the owner..
Like I explained to him a little bit of communication would have been great we all would have knew where we stood and what was happening next..

This is a beautiful site set by a river and a 12th century church. No main roads nearby so very peaceful. Great toilet and shower facilities.
We stayed on a fully serviced hard pitch which was very well maintained. It was so very peaceful and quiet with the sound of the river and birds almost deafening.
Mike and his wife keep the site facilities very clean and tidy and are very approachable people.
Will return to this site again as it’s one of the best we have stayed on. 10 out of 10👍🏻

Beautiful hidden away spot. Very quiet. Helpful staff. Nice welcome. Great facilities. Probably best shower I’ve had on a camp site, powerful hot shower with no time restraint. I actually had some noisy neighbours, but can’t blame campsite for that. It happens—fortunately rarely. I will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

Peaceful stay , very well maintained and beautiful walks with our dog. The owner made us very welcome and all the facilities were very good.

Beautiful setting, lovely owners who couldn’t do enough for you and made me feel very safe and welcome. Extremely clean shepherds hut and private bathroom was fabulous.

A perfect bucolic site with the babbling Ithon in the background. Everything was very neat and tidy, the pitches are of an excellent size and coped well with the deluge of rain.
Lovely church literally next door with its original box pews from the 1600's.
The owners are lovely, full of information and friendly in the bargain. Thanks for a relaxing stay

Nice quite site tucked away so no road noise, our pitch was next to the river so nice background noise. Ground was wet (to be expected this time of year) but well maintained, site staff kept on top of areas where the odd car had churned up by cutting a corner.

Lovely peaceful clean campsite. Only thing we could hear was birds and river, bliss (and husband snoring🙄) Red kites flying above and lots of different birds, ducks swimming down river past our MH 😁 owners away but welcomed by the lovely lady looking after the site with husband 😊 nice walk with dogs up wooded mountain, dogs loved it, pity weather was not better. Pitch plenty large enough with ehu and water. View with River behind us and Chapel directly infront. Showers lovely and clean and nice hot water. Lovely little extremely interesting old chapel you can go in and visit. Hopefully will return in near future. As we much prefer these small privately owned campsite

Beautiful location right next to the river, fell asleep each night with the gentle relaxing sound of trickling water. Superbly relaxing!
