This site is a perfect stop off from the UK for travelling further down France.

The owners are lovely, pitches are a great size and level. This year we stayed 2 nights and had some great cycles round the local villages.

A well stocked Super U is 10 mins away and has well priced fuel. The pool is sensational to cool down in after a long day's journey. However beware we only realised this year its shut on a Monday!!

It's not near the sea or we'd stay even longer :)

Fantastic location. Beautiful river views, excellent town, municipal pool next door and 10 minute stroll to a decent sized supermarket... clean facilities and great for fishing watching along the Loire.

Nothing to dislike

Private pitches, perfectly flat ground. Spotless facilities. Quiet and Peaceful setting next to the river. Dark sky and excellent star gazing. Very nice pool a short stroll away. Croissants ordered for breakfast. Helpful owner. Felt safe and welcoming. Supermarket close by and a walk to the village chateau for some sightseeing.

A wider variety at the snack bar would be brilliant as very limited restaurants in the village.

Big Pitches, level ground and close to mains hook up. Location next to river is stunning.

The Town itself was pretty dead, nothing open of an evening in the way of restaurants, convenience store and bars, not the campsites fault but if you’re staying there make sure you bring provisions with you!

We booked this very last minute. It’s a very clean site. We pitched up over looking the river.
Was very friendly and quiet. Lovely walk along the river into the little town.
We will definitely return of we do our road trip again.
Showers were clean and nice little snack bar was good did pizzas and drinks.
Shame we missed the pool as it’s closed on Mondays
We didn’t get chance to hire a kayak it looked great fun along the river

It was nice to be close to the river. Shower and toilets clean and well serviced. Lovely area to spend a few nights and relax on the route south.

10-minute riverside walk into the village.

Lovely bit of France for touring, slightly off the beaten track.

Peaceful site with beautiful views over the Loire. Very friendly owners who were kind enough to book us in a day earlier than booked due to us mixing up our dates. Would definitely stay again.
