Liked: Lots of cycling routes available but only 2 toilet blocks for a very large site.
Disliked: Grass was very long on our pitch and the site has ditches all around which are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. It was a problem for me as I react badly to bites.

Liked: Lovely location on the banks of the Loire. Riverside walk. Coarse fishing. Short stroll to the local village. Good quality facilities. Friendly reception. Quiet at night. The loud frogs!!

Liked: Upon arrival we were given a nice touring pitch and our previous wish to be near to the toilets was granted. Near to a lovely part of the river Loire with super walks and the town close by..

Liked: Right by the river with a towpath all along the river edge. Clean and tidy site, well looked after. The staff were nice and friendly. Easy walk into town (& boulangerie) and local supermarket. Lots to visit with a short drive. Games room and book exchange room were very useful.
Disliked: Not the fault of the site we know, but local dogs barked well into the night. Shame the swimming pool is only open in high summer, as is the bread van

Concerning swiming pool, this one is a communal pool. Unfortunately, we do not have the power to decide on its opening.

Liked: Spacious, looked clean.
Disliked: Couldn’t get in, pitchup booking said reception was manned from 12:00 but no one there. Code on reception window didn’t work on the barrier so we had no choice but to leave. Need to send updated access code via pitchup or email and change it at reception. Obviously won’t get deposit back but hey c’est la vie!

Liked: Beautiful setting, lovely roomy private pitch right by the river and the gorgeous town of Durtal only moments away on foot. Good clean facilities. Husband particularly liked the washing up area!

Liked: Superb campsite on the banks of the Loire. Direct access via a gate to the riverbank. If fishing licences are available from the reception. Very friendly staff . Short walk into Durtal do bars restaurants etc are close by.

I can not let you say that grass was very long. Unfortunately, I cannot attach a photo to my answer. Photo that would prove that the grass was not high.
Moreover, the campsite is not surrounded by ditches, it is quite simply located along a river. You could have asked me to change pitch, I would have done a pitch not along the river with pleasure.
Moreover, I don't understand your rating of 6 on children allowed. You had no children! or maybe you have been bothered by children. Again, you should have come and told me.
And finally, your rating of 4 on cleanliness is incomprehensible, especially since it contradicts the ratings of other customers who find our campsite very clean.
