Not too big a site. Nice space on tent pitches. Good location.

Swimming pool tiny, only suitable for very young children. WiFi seemed to disappear at 10pm until 7.30am.
Must be hardcore under tent pitches as extremely hard to hammer pegs in. Dog shelter across the back of the site, which got a bit noisy sometimes.

We had amazing weekend checking in was easy the staff made you fill very welcome .veiw was fantastic from are tent plenty of room would definitely go back

Small, well run site with friendly, helpful staff. A warm indoor pool, with a code to enter, encouraging safety , plus a small playground near plenty of benches outside a well staffed bar and restaurant, which provided a fine selection of cider on pump, plus adequately priced meals, catering for family meals, on a family budget! Plus entertainment on the Saturday evening ! Incredible !
The shop was more than adequate, with pocket money toys for children and a good selection of basic supplies if required with again, helpful , friendly staff.
The granddaughters loved sleeping in the awning of our campervan and we found the showers and other basic amenities very clean and accessible. All very commendable and highly recommended.

Enjoyed the stay. Booked last minute and it was only 45 minutes from home. Great views. Food and drink reasonably priced too.

Toilet block clean and lots of pitch room.

Lots to do around the site, we really enjoyed cheddar and the local strawberries.

Dogs barking (in local kennels) occasionally but wouldn’t put me off another visit

Great site. Lovely facilities. Bar with entertainment some nights. Great little pool for the kids and play area. We stayed on strawberry field.

Not really the sites fault but it's a shame some parents are inconsiderate letting their children run round screaming past 11pm

Only 1 till open on hot day at bar, big queues, limited pool space, ablutions could do with a clean more often

Lovely friendly site. When we arrived we were unhappy with our pitch, after popping into reception the staff went out of their way to find us something more suitable even though they were fully booked one family had not arrived, after percerveering to contact the family and confirmation confirmed of them not arriving the staff moved us. Thankyou. (I like the sun and the spot was very shady).
Loved the live singers, very professional.
The site is a great location for getting places, we visited Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari Park and Brean all within a maximum 40 minute drive from the site. The views are stunning. Highly recommended the Globe Inn at Wells, fabulous Sunday Roast £12.95. Be prepared to spend all day at Longleat it's well worth the money.

Toilet/shower block could do with an upgrade but I've seen far worse over the years, trouble is there is a lot of competition with sites today with modern facilities and the competition is high but not as bad as I thought after reading previous reviews.
