Looking for somewhere surrounded by fabulous natural landscapes and with lots of family facilities for your downtime? Within the coastal landscape of Ebro Delta Natural Park, Camping Eucaliptus should make the cut, with its family pool surrounded by shady palm trees and the light, airy on-site La Mar del Delta Restaurant serving up a traditional regional menu of rice dishes and fresh seafood. You could easily spend a day simply bouncing between the pool and various tasty plates of food – either from the restaurant or cooked up at the site's covered barbecue area (handily, there's also a well-stocked supermarket here). Kids will probably want to spend a bit of time at the play zones and sports field too, while canine guests get their daily exercise at the dedicated dog-friendly zone. It's certainly worth getting out to explore your surroundings, though – this location is a mere 15 minutes’ walk from Eucaliptus Beach and well within reach of popular birdwatching spots like Tancada Lagoon (15 minutes’ drive). You can also arrange cycling excursions through the rice fields (great for kids gaining biking confidence, as the routes are flat), or book boat trips down the Ebro River. And despite being so deeply embedded in nature, the site is only a 20-minute drive from Amposta, a traditional town where the architecture ranges from medieval to modernist.

Great spot near a stunning beach with a chill vibe. Clean facilities, tidy sites, and friendly staff get a nod. Pool and shop are bonuses. Mostly ripper experiences, though some mentioned older cabins, a bit of noise, and the odd hiccup with gear.

Liked amamos el lugar, la limpieza, la naturaliza, el vibe..todo

Disliked el culchon doble es MUY duro, dormimos mal (cabana 37)
y el agua en las duchas se queda fria cada 10 segundos, sufrimos las 5 noches de ambas temas, espero que arreglais esto, porque son 2 cosas super basicas en cualquier lugar (y pagamos muy caro por ser en semana santa)
lo demas, perfecto <3 y el equipo maravilloso

Disliked They tried to charge over and above the pitch up price as it was “Easter week” even though we book the actual dates via pitch up. Spent over an hour at reception getting pitch. Left after one night as I would not pay the inflated price

We are very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to kindly clarify the situation.

At no point did we attempt to charge you more than the official rate. All our prices are set at the beginning of the season and are directly synchronized with PitchUp. The total shown at the time of booking is always accurate, provided that all reservation details (dates, number of guests, dog supplements, etc.) are correctly selected.

In your case, the total calculated by PitchUp matched the amount requested upon arrival, as it is based on the information entered during the booking process. Please also note that the tourist tax (0.99€ per adult/night) is not included in the online price, and is payable upon arrival, as indicated.

Regarding the ACSI discount, it was correctly applied for the first night, which fell within the low season period. As stated in the ACSI guide and on their website, this discount is only applicable on the specified dates and is not valid during high season, so it could not be applied the second night.

We understand that pricing can sometimes be confusing, especially when there are different seasonal rates and discounts apply. However, this situation was not due to an overcharge on our part, but rather a misunderstanding of the booking conditions.

We also attempted to speak with you the following day to resolve the matter in person, but unfortunately you had already departed. We truly wish your stay could have ended on a more positive note and we remain at your disposal for any further clarification.

Disliked Solo hay un edificio de baños/ lavadero… me hubiese gustado otro edificio en nuestra zona, pero al ser un camping pequeño, las distancias acaban siendo cortas.
Podría haber descuentos para familias numerosas.

Liked Quiet, comfortable, great atmosphere. A decent place to stay, everything you need is available and ready to use. The cottage is a little dated, but for me that adds to the value when looking at the beautiful surroundings. Animals nearby, a short walk to the beach. Bbq space for everyone! Parking space in front seals the deal.

Disliked Kitchen knifes were blunt and unusable.
Lack of decently sized pans in comparison to the size of the stove.
Floor of the cottage was dirty and covered with sand when we first entered.

Local attractions

Those who like to spend time watching wildlife will be in a top location at Camping Eucaliptus. On top of having easy access to Tancada Lagoon and boat trips on the Ebro Delta (both 15 minutes’ drive), just up the road is Riet Vell Nature Reserve (10 minutes’ walk), where birds like pink flamingos can be spotted among the wetlands. The Ecomuseum (15 minutes) in Deltebre has lots of exhibits about the nature and history of the local area, and the Ebro Lands Museum (20 minutes) is a good starting point to learn about the local heritage and the traditional llagut boats used on the delta. If you’re planning plenty of beach time for your holiday, Playa del Trabucador (15 minutes) should absolutely be on your radar. This long strip of sand has water on both sides; one side faces the Mediterranean Sea and the other faces the Bay of Alfaques. Waterfront cycling and kayaking are popular activities here. Back inland, you may fancy a trip to the Tinença de Benifassà Natural Park (an hour) to spend a day on the trails through pine and olive trees that encircle the turquoise waters of Ulldecona Reservoir, or wander through the historic centre of Amposta (20 minutes), known for its modernist buildings.
