Impala Game Ranch is tucked under a canopy of trees in the South African bushveld. At 35 minutes’ drive north from Cullinan in Gauteng province, this peaceful place has a small number of hardstanding pitches, each with its own private shower, basin and loo, as well as access to a shared outdoor kitchen, dish-washing area and tabletop. The pitches are well away from each other, so you can feel private at all times.
Facilities include a large swimming pool with a shallow end for novice swimmers. Kids can play on the seesaws and swings, and other activities available include a shooting range, guided nature walks, lookout points for watching wildlife and the chance to spot native birds in their bushveld habitat.
The ranch and its surroundings are laced with walking trails, and you can (hopefully) spot the Big Five in Dinokeng Game Reserve; the nearest entrance is 10 minutes’ drive away. Alternatively, see where the most notorious diamond in the world was discovered at the Cullinan Diamond Mine, or go shopping for vintage finds in Cullinan itself.

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
