If you’re firmly of the opinion that hols should be packed full of activity, you’ll be among like-minded folks at Camping Vittoria, in the little resort of Rosolina Mare. This is a place that’s stacked with things to do: the huge outdoor pool complex has a kids’ pool, waterslides and a water play area, there are courts for games of beach volleyball and football and a busy programme of high-season antics to keep the nippers amused while the grownups slope off to burn a few calories at an aqua gym class (or not). Happily for those whose idea of holiday involves doing very little, there’s also direct access to a splendid sandy beach where you can settle down for days of idleness, rising only from your lounger for the odd dip in the sea or to pick up drinks and snacks from the beach bar. On top of all this, there’s plenty of scope for getting out and about nearby – even the most committed idler may well be tempted by boat trips to Venice or days exploring the fab Po Delta Park. And if they’re reluctant, they can always console themselves with drinks and a woodfired pizza from the restaurant upon their return…

Great spacious spots, some in pine forests. Dog-friendly beach, calm sea perfect for kids. Staff are legends, facilities are spick and span, close to the beach and Venice. But, mozzies can be a pain, loos are a bit old-school with dodgy hot water/supplies, and it can flood. Pool's small, shallow, and has rules. WiFi's a no-go in the trees.

Liked Der Stellplatz war im Pinienwald sehr schön und groß. Wir hatten mehr wie genug Platz und immer genug Schatten.

Der Strand mit den Stöcken ist super.

Disliked Badekappen am Pool und es wird immer schnell gepfiffen. Erwachsene dürfen nicht rutschen.

Liked Close to Venice, Bologna and some other lovely towns if you like driving
Nice place to stay
Nice to be under the pine woods
Big pitches
Easy to communicate and appreciate their help after a heavy rain
Reasonable close to the beach and sea
Nice hot water in the shower for free

Disliked To many mosquitoes, be careful
Some of the branches are too old and quite dangerous needs to be paid attention
No hot water under pinewood for washing up and dishes
At least 10-15 minutes walk to the beach and when you get there you need to pay separately for lounge and umbrella
Lower ground is more likely to be flooded under a heavy rain which happened to experience while there likely not us
Pool is quite small and shallow and slide is just for very young age (max 9-10 years old) which no mentioned anywhere
No hot water, toilet paper or soap any of the toilets

Disliked Horaire ou le camping est totalement fermer de 13 à 15 h
Presque pas de francophones
On nous dépose dans l emplacement puis débrouiller vous on a du leur demander où on devais se brancher pour l électricité pareil pour le wifi
Le premier soir on vas manger à la pizzeria où on nous installe a l écart de tous les autres la petite a eu son assiette une demi heure avant les autres donc elle avais fini quand nous avons été servi
Nous avons dû malheureusement écourter notre séjour de plus de moitié pour cause de décès dans la famille mais malheureusement aucun geste de la part de la gérantes c est décevant de faire autant de kilomètre pour rien et être reçu de la sort en plus la pluie c’est invitée alors dans le sable une vrai catastrophe

Kamping bardzo fajny i godny polecenia, byłem dwa tygodnie w lipcu pod namiotem. Basen dość duży i zadbany. Plaża bardzo ładna i szeroka. Parcele pod namioty ładnie zacienione, duzo piasku pod parcelami. Polecam wziąć pokrowiec na samochód ze względu na żywice i spadające duże szyszki.

Disliked Brak mydła w łazienkach.

Local attractions

There really is no other place like Venice – it’s a truly fab city to explore for a day, whether you amble around on foot or cruise along the canals. St Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace and the Rialto Bridge are among the most famed sights, but it’s also worth taking time to poke around in the back streets and truffle out little canalside cafés. If the hour-long journey (by car or boat) doesn’t appeal, consider instead the half-hour drive to Chioggia, known as ‘Little Venice’ for its similar setup, with squares, canals and winding streets strewn across several islands. The fish market here is rightly famed, and there are some top-notch seafood restaurants too. Should you prefer to spend your days surrounded by greenery, the Po Delta Regional Park is also around half an hour away. Head here to spot all manner of wildlife including frogs and flamingoes, wander through the botanic gardens or tour the terrain on foot, by bike, on horseback or by boat.
