Great spot near Pisa's sights & train. Lovely pool, shop's well-stocked, staff are ace. BUT, loos can be a bit grubby & showers dated. Pitches are tight too. Good for a quick Pisa trip.

Liked Vi fik tildelt tilpas stor plads til vores campingvogn og i nær afstand til servicebygning.

Disliked Toilet og badeforholdene var noget under standard. Der manglede brusehoved i et af baderummene og knager i flere under hele vores ophold på 12 dage.
Men der manglede generelt daglig rengøring af baderummene og toiletterne.

Liked Fin plads hvis man vil se og opleve Pisa. Gåafstand til tårnet og byen, men stadig en rolig plads.
Rigtigt fint pool område.
Fint supermarked og bar.
Presenning over standpladser til at gi skygge.
Ville anbefale, men med forbehold for rengøringen

Disliked Rengøring af service bygninger er af lav standart. Gør opmærksom på meget beskidt gulv i baderum, de sender hurtig en til at gøre rent, problemet var bare, at det overhovedet ikke hjalp. Når jeg køre min badesko henover fliserne, blev vandet helt brunt.
Træner virkelig til en opgradering
Ret store skarpe sten på standpladserne, så trods presenning og tæppe kunne man ikke gå uden sko.
Mangler skiltning ved vejen, svært at se hvor man skulle ind

Liked Friendly staff, excellent swimming pool, bar and restaurant, clean and up to date toilet. 20 mins walk on pavement into Pisa, 40 mins walk to the rail station for a train to Florence. Shop was well stocked for food as well as camping related products

Disliked Very tight getting larger motorhomes in some pitches.
Not much privacy as pitches very close together.
We stayed 5 days and enjoyed it, but most seem to stay a day or two to do Pisa and move on.

Recommend to friends Visit again

Would not return to this site by choice.

Liked Location to Pisa was excellent. Tower and Basillica was within walking distance
Needed transport to train station which was other side of city. But not a problem.

Disliked Layout of site was extremely suspect. No safety spacing between pitches in event of an incident. An incident could quite quickly turn into a catastrophe. No dedicated drinking water points or grey water disposal. overall size of pitches very small.

Liked The site was lovely, it was clean and all staff pleasant and helpful. The showers were nice and powerful and always hot water. The swimming pool was also very clean and lovely. It was also nice that there was no smoking around the actual pool area.

Liked Kurzer Weg zum schiefen Turm von pisa

Disliked Plätze sehr dreckig matschig nass
Toiletten alt Wasser läuft dauernd, dreckig teilweise schon eine Zumutung
Einfach ein altes waschhaus das einmal ordentlich renoviert gehört da der Preis es ja schon ist Flugverkehrslärm am Morgen

Camping Torre Pendente is in Pisa, within walking distance of the famed and wonky tower as well as other Pisa highlights like the Baptistry, in the same piazza as the tower and where amateur but tuneful singers belt out songs daily. A few kilometres from Pisa is the city of Lucca, the ancient place mainly famed for its fully intact Renaissance-era city walls. Wander along these, the piazzas and the narrow streets of the Old Town before a visit to the Ducal Palace and the handsome gardens of the Palazzo Pfanner or Villa Bottini, and then sup an aperitif at a bar in Piazza Anfiteatro. Getting to the rest of Tuscany is easy enough from here, whether it's to the hills and wineries or cities like Florence and Siena. If you prefer sunbathing and sea, drive down the coast to Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, both well under ten kilometres away.
