I bagni senza tavola e senza cartigenica.

Powered grass and gravel motorhome site

Liked Lovely site with friendly and helpful staff. Great pool and snack bar. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Amazing restaurant on site with great food. Lots of good entertainment. There was a live rock band when we were there, who were brilliant!

Disliked Some campers exceeded their pitches which made it a bit cramped for some, although didn’t really affect us.

Local attractions

Clustered around its medieval church, the gorgeous village of La Motte-Chalancon (five minutes’ drive) is a hub of outdoor activities including hiking, horse riding and mountain biking on marked trails. In summer, there’s a lively café scene in shaded squares, as well as a couple of smart delis selling delicious local foods and wines. Learn all about the Provençal night skies while looking through the powerful telescope at Observatoire des Baronnies Provençales (half an hour). Nature lovers can often watch vultures playing in the thermals from the Observatoire Vautours en Baronnies (15 minutes) atop steep cliffs at Saint-May, but it will take a bit more patience to spot the beavers now living on the River Oule. If the kids are proving resistant to wildlife spotting, get them out into the fresh air with a scamper around treetop climbing courses at Les Barons Perchés (45 minutes), while more adventurous sorts might like the challenging cliff-side climbing course at Via Ferrata le Pas de l’Echelle (10 minutes).
