What customers say

Friendly, quiet site, mostly statics, few touring pitches. Helpful, English-speaking owner, good value. Spacious pitches with hook-up. Basic but clean facilities, ongoing renos. Close to Calais & lakes. Some note tricky access & dated facilities.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Friendly reception, gated and locked with code! Off the main road, pitch sizes are very good. Nice facilities, people who seem to have a plot/home there are nice and friendly. Offers a burger van in the evening and even gives you a menu for local takeaway! Great walking distance from mini fair, town, bar drinks. Liked this site overall

Disliked It was a bit noisy in the evening with burger van but our pitch was right at the front for early exit so can’t complain! Have to pay for showers but we didn’t use them here.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Location, friendly welcome, clean facilities.

Disliked Narrow row of pitches so tricky with twin axle unless you have a motor mover (we did so not a problem). Soap empty in toilet block. Have to pay for shower.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Location near lake, 3 min bike ride or short walk, shops and cafes near by too, huge pitches, bbqs allowed very good shower and toilet block, water and electric on pitch, pitch is gravel but we still got our awning and blankets out, owner is so welcoming and accommodating provides you with take out menus which we ended up asking him to order for us as I tried but I don’t speak French. Ping pong table little play area, lovely spot along a canal, a lot of seasonal residents there but they too are so welcoming, we stayed for five nights as we had been wild camping for a while and needed to chill out and get some washing done, washing fascilities spot on too.

Disliked Having to come home

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Really good last minute find for our final night before boarding the ferry within 20mins drive of Calais.

Helpful owner, who even suggested we walked over the canal for lovely ice-cream and we had the best last day at eurovac where we went on the zip lines through the forest. Thanks for the recommendation.

Disliked You have to pay €1 for showers for 8 minutes. We hadn't realised and were all out of change so just make sure you have some.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Ideal for what we needed which was a night stay close to Calais. We had a walk out and found a lovely lake with activities - kids loved getting out on a pedalo.

Disliked Lack of handwashing in the toilets, although we found this at most places in France. There is also a very tight corner as you approach the site. Managed it fine, just be careful.

Local attractions

Set off for Calais (20 minutes’ drive), a port town lined with white cliffs. The City of Lace and Fashion is one of its famed museums, telling the story of the town's craft-making past in a 19th-century lace factory. That Opal Coast is calling too… walks-wise, the chalk cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez (35 minutes) with views over the English channel must surely take the priority. For seaside cities, however, Boulogne-sur-Mer (40 minutes) is first call. The city walls, built in the 13th century, are a clue to the interesting history. The Norman castle has ancient Egyptian and Greek artefacts and an art gallery. If you get the chance, you might want to check out Wimereux (40 minutes), near Boulogne-sur-Mer. A sandy beach backed by a sea wall and promenade, and lined with 19th-century villas, makes for a splendid beach day.
