Liked: Great cosy, quiet atmosphere. Carol & Clint (as seen on TV!) were excellent hosts. Small site with 10 pitches. Well laid out with electric hookup. Showers, toilets spotless with hot water. WiFi good (connect to Wavelink option) Stayed 2 nights but easily could have stayed longer. Definitely recommended.

Liked: Very pretty rural campsite with great facilities that is centrally located in Normandy with good access to a main connecting road route.
Ideal for visiting Mont San Michel, the Normandy beaches, Coutances, Bayeux & other historic towns; or just stopping & chilling to break a long journey.
It is also close to the wetlands nature area, "Parc Naturel Régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin", apparently a great bird watching area!
The site is owned/run by a friendly, knowledgeable, British couple.
There is plenty of space with level gravel, electric pitches on the edge of a large meadow.
Our dog was very welcome (on lead) & and an exercise path has been cut around the meadow, which was a nice touch.
It had nice, large hot showers which were immaculately clean, as were all the facilities.
There was an enormous games room & out door boules court.
Because it is away from any town lights we had great views of the "stary skies".
Note, that only green eco friendly toilet waste chemicals can be disposed of on site; kindly the owners offered to supply us some.

From the manager: Thanks guys, both for your visit and for the lovely review we really enjoyed having you stay. Boomer wants you back as he's got nobody as playful as Roger at the moment!

Liked: Very friendly, tidy and welcoming site, owners greeted us on arrival. Lovely outlook over the countryside and good location for Normandy sites. Very hot water at sinks and showers which made our short stay very comfortable.
Disliked: It was difficult to fill motorhome up with water as tap too far from pitches even with long hose. Also could have done with outside light in the evening above washing up sinks as too dark.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments, I'm really glad you enjoyed our little site; we are aware of our need to fit a light over the washing-up area and will be addressing it very soon. We do provide a hose cart at the water point which will easily reach the pitches so there's no need to use your own hoses. Hopefully we'll see you again in a future visit.
