Liked We had a fantastic stay at Crane Cross Camping Site! The site was clean and well-maintained, in a great location with easy access to nearby attractions. The showers were excellent—spacious, hot, and best of all, no need to keep pressing a button to keep the water running! It made such a difference. We highly recommend this campsite and will definitely be returning.

From the manager: Great stuff! We're glad you enjoyed yourselves whilst staying. See you again in the future!

Powered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked The site looks great on arrival, pitch clearly marked with your name for accuracy.
Welcomed by the owner, and orientated to the site.
Toilet / shower block is always clean and presentable whatever time of day it is.
The play area was fabulous for the children and the dog field was a great feature.
We were in the area supporting Long Course Weekend which was great for us to walk to Saundesfoot and Tenby to support all the competitors

Disliked This isn’t really a dislike but maybe the grass could be a little shorter.

From the manager: Thank you for visiting us during LCW and reviewing us. We're glad you enjoyed and found our location useful to access the triathlon course. Grass cutting timing can sometimes be a lottery due to weather and also not being a nuisance to guests.

Unpowered grass caravan site (solo)

Liked Was clean and well maintained, great location, 35 min walk down hill to Saundersfoot down the lane directly opposite, just over an hour walk to Tenby (I did have my bulldog with me mind) will definitely be using this site again. Really pleased great little find.
Taxi to the site from Saundersfoot was about £5 and from Tenby £10

Disliked Just a cautionary word of you like to walk everywhere, walk to Tenby along the main road was tricky as there was no pavements or walkway between the four seasons shop and the Saundersfoot turn off about 500mtrs although you can jump on the grass verge. Just advice and no reflection on the site, it was superb

From the manager: Thank you for visiting, and your superb review.

You are spot on with the main road. We recommend walk to Saundersfoot and if possible bus to Tenby or a taxi. One day the main A Road may get a footpath!

We look forward to seeing you in the future.

Excellent family run campsite in a rural setting.

Powered gravel caravan site

Liked We liked the general feel of the campsite as a thoughtfully run family business. We particularly liked the touring hard pitches - not too many, well spaced, and tree/ bush lined. Facilities were well cleaned if looking a little tired. Good kids facilities. Well sited for Saundersfoot and Tenby.

Disliked No public transport to local towns, but with an early start, finding parking places in June was no problem.

From the manager: Thank you for your custom and staying with us. We're glad you enjoyed your time away in Pembrokeshire. We will be updating our facilities in the future.

Powered gravel caravan site

Liked Quiet, comfortable, good facilities. We stayed 1 night , there was hardly anybody there. Showers and toilets very clean, free and easy to use. We would definitely stay here again if n the area

Disliked Not enough hooks by the showers to hang yours clothes on, also need a bench or stool to sit on after shower

From the manager: Thank you for staying with us, June is normally quiet and a good time to visit if weather kind too. Thanks for your feedback on additional shower hooks and seat.

Local attractions

Pembrokeshire has got a few tricks up its sleeves for those who want a thrill (or two, or three). Oakwood Theme Park (15 minutes’ drive) has rollercoasters and water rides, including loop-the-loops or family-friendly coasters. Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (10 minutes) is its softer alternative, with over 750 animals and vintage fairground rides. Paintball, golf, archery, fishing… get your dose at Heatherton World of Activities (five minutes). If you’re still craving animals, however, Manor Wildlife Park (five minutes) has a walking safari where guests can have a go at feeding the wallabies. You bet that Pembrokeshire also has some gorgeous coastal path sections, with excellently clear waters and geological formations. The Green Bridge, Elugug Stacks and The Cauldron are all half an hour’s drive away, as is Saint Govan’s Chapel by the sea and the sandy Broad Haven South beach (half an hour), backed by a lily pond.
