What customers say
Top-notch, tranquil spot with ripper estuary views. Phil's a legend, facilities are spotless (showers are ace!). Good-sized, powered sites. Great base for exploring walks & beaches. Showers take coins, some sites need levelling.

Great site. Friendly owner. Quiet location

Liked Beautiful location which was nice and quiet. Phil the owner was very helpful and a lovely chap. Pitch was stone which was fairly level but we had taken levelling blocks (it’s a long motorhome) grass either side of each pitch. Toilets/showers immaculate which background music which was a nice touch (you need 20p coins for the shower) washing up facilities and also a washing machine and dryer. We took the dogs and were quite happy laying in the grass next to our pitch. Site is 15 min walk from the village and train which Phil said to pop on and take a trip to pembrey and burry port (huge beach there and only £5 return) local beach is a 10 min walk. plenty of bins on site and a waste disposal (sorry no idea of the proper name) for emptying the toilet waste into.
Good free WiFi. And a good reception for our satellite tv (nice for the dark evenings)
Disliked Nothing to do with the site as such. But if you want to eat out the local pub was not always open ( we were happy cooking)

Liked A lovely scenic site perfect location for dog walking and in walking distance of local town.
The owner sent us an email prior to our visit with local amenities and useful links. He greeted us upon arrival and accommodated our needs as a group of three (tent, caravan and campervan). He was very friendly!
The campsite was well maintained and suited our needs. The shower facilities were good and toilets were cleaned regularly!

Liked Beautiful and quiet. Small village a short walk away. Fantastic walk along the estuary when the tide is low which brings you out onto a sandy area. Phil the owner very knowledgeable of the area. Took a short train ride to Burry port harbour and walked along the beach and picked up a fantastic walk to Pembrey country park.
