  • Smartly furnished static caravans just off the coast path near Cemaes
  • A 10-minute walk to the nearest beach; 15 mins' drive to Church Bay
  • Well-equipped kitchen and private outdoor space for each caravan
Self-catering break surrounded by stunning scenery? That’s what’s on the cards at Anglesey’s Llanbadrig Holiday Park, where smartly furnished static caravans sit in a scenic spot just off the coast path, a little over a mile from Cemaes village. Anglesey’s coastline was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1966, and you’ll be in a great position to explore it while staying here, whether you choose to head out for a hike, go fishing from the nearby cliffs or set out on a boat trip from Cemaes harbour. Several of the top spots along the northern coastline are within easy reach too, including Porth Wen beach, Lligwy beach and the lovely Church Bay. Wherever you choose to roam, you’ll be coming back to a stylish and well-equipped caravan that welcomes families and dogs (just check you're booking a pet-friendly option if you’re bringing your dog). Each one sits in a generous plot with a private decking/patio area where you can soak up the views and fresh air, and watch out for passing wildlife (there's usually plenty around). Each of the caravans has a well-equipped kitchen (with cooker, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave, plus plenty of equipment), but there's a restaurant/bar under a mile away for those times you don't feel like cooking – and more options in the village. Also in the caravans are a bathroom (with towels provided), bedrooms with beds made up, and plenty of living space with a sofa, central heating and a TV for cosy nights in.

Coed 2 bedroom static caravan (four person)

Liked Lovely surroundings, close to Camaes Bay & village with shops and 2 pubs, plus hotel serving food and drinks , 2 mins drive or 10 minute walk. Quiet peaceful camp and Static caravan was superb, complete with complimentary cake on our arrival, can’t wait to go back

Disliked Nothing to dislike, the base you stay at covers all needs, plus surrounding area is great for coastal walks, or simple day on the Bay.

Local attractions

There are heaps of lovely beaches to choose from along Anglesey’s coastline, and several are very easy to get to from here. Porth Padrig (10 minutes' walk) is the closest, or you could head to Cemaes Bay (five minutes' drive) or Church Bay (15 minutes), a popular spot for surfing, fishing and sailing as well as swims and rockpooling. The beach and brickworks of Porth Wen are about five minutes’ drive away – although they're best approached on a walk along the coast path. The area around Amlwch (10 minutes’ drive) is worth exploring too – the town is home to the Copper Kingdom Centre museum, and a little way inland you can take a walk through the spectacular colourful landscapes of Parys Mountain, shaped by its copper-mining past. If you’d like to set out to explore the rest of the island, it’ll take you around 25 minutes to drive to Benllech beach, 35 minutes to Rhosneigr and 40 minutes to the spectacular sunset-watching spot at South Stack.
