  • Luxurious Powys holiday accommodation 10 minutes’ drive from Welshpool
  • Powis Castle 20 minute’ drive and Eryri National Park half an hour
  • Full kitchens and hot tubs; spectacular rural views and farm walks
You’ll be accorded a very warm ‘croeso cynnes’ (welcome) when you arrive at Upper Gelli, a discreetly luxurious Powys site 10 minutes’ drive from Welshpool. Sitting in spectacular lush countryside with valley views, the accommodation units are neatly and stylishly decked out inside, with ensuite shower rooms, full kitchens and dedicated workspaces for digital nomads. Moving outside, each secure, dog-friendly private garden has a barbecue, dining area for warmer evenings and hot tub from which to soak up the mountain and valley views. You can exercise your canine chums on paths around the 10-acre property, leading to a traditional Dutch barn or to duck ponds where you can have a picnic and view the sunset on clear evenings. Once installed in your personal slice of paradise, settle down to watch the cattle and local-breed hardy sheep grazing in nearby fields, or the myriad of wildlife including the buzzards and red kites frequently seen in the skies above. Fishing, golf and more testing hikes are all available locally too.
