Great little campsite, clean & organised with friendly owners. Modern facilities, alpacas a hit with families. Handy for Cheddar & beaches. Some road noise but mostly top marks. Lots want to come back!

Clean site with level pitches, very family friendly
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked New and clean facilities. Well kept ground. Easy to find and good facilities nearby. Alpacas were absolutely adorable!! Good communication from Dani. The pizza van on Friday was fab! Make sure you take a bbq or fire pit as there aren't made fire pits.
Disliked Wouldn't describe it as wild camping as you were assigned spaces and it was a well kept field. Not necessary a negative, just make sure you know what to expect as lots of families were there and felt less wild than we normally choose. Also there was no hot water at peak times, and a queue for the toilets/shower (this probably isn't normally an issue though!)

Liked There were four of us with two tents. They gave us two pitches next to each other. The pitch was very clean, there were cubicals with showers and toilets which were very clean. Free hot water for showering unlike other campsites.
Disliked Nothing.

Really impressed with the lovely wooden, well stocked facilities
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Flat pitches, clean facilities, alpacas, vegan pizzas, location, friendliness
Disliked Loud other guests! The large group did kinda take over the space and their kids were a bit annoying, shouting a lot and kicking their ball near us etc. It didn't feel like anyone had had a word with them to make sure they respected other guests. Raucous laughter into the early hours etc etc.
But it's not the end of the world and I'm glad they had a good time.

Bell tent
Liked Absolutely loved our stay! Such a peaceful site in a beautiful location. The bell tent was fantastic - very roomy for 4 and we loved the fairy lights! And the absolute highlight was the gorgeous alpacas! Will definitely be returning next year!

Excellent site, great facilities and good vibes.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The site was super clean, well organised and had a really nice small site feel to it. The facilities were clean, modern and well positioned. We also loved seeing the alpacas and for the price we really can't fault anything with this campsite.
Disliked We visited in very heavy rain so maybe a small shelter or roof over the washing up area would've been really useful but didn't ruin our experience.
