What customers say
This new adults-only campsite is a peaceful spot with gorgeous views and level, decent-sized pitches. Facilities, like the well-stocked kitchen, are spotless. Owners are super friendly and helpful. It's perfect for a quiet getaway. Access roads can be a bit tight.

Great site overall. Just need power sorted.maybe pay as you go?
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Lovely little site.
Great facilities in the kitchenette, showers and toilets.and clean.
Great views over the valley and picnic tables on each pitch to enjoy it all.
Owner very nice and stopped for a chat more than once
Disliked Only downside was the electric supply.
We arrived and no-one else was on site.
We only had fridge and water heater on electric but when we tried to cook something in a small airfyer it wouldn't work.
We even took it to the kitchenette to try and still didn't, so had to improvise.
Next we tried to make a coffee, nothing more on than I mentioned previously ,it wouldn't work,so had to turn everything off to get it to work and it did,but slowly
When our friends arrived, they couldn't put anything on but a fridge and when we turned on the coffee, their fridge went off, don't know if it was drawing power from their pitch? Dunno what would have happened if the next pitch were strangers to us!
This is the only thing that would prevent us returning.

Would definitely visit again if the power issue was resolved

Liked Very peaceful site tucked away in the countryside spotless showers and kitchen area..nice size pitches and picnic tables outside each pitch
Disliked The only thing that prevents us from returning is the power supply it simply can’t even cope with 1 pitch ,luckily our freinds were neighbours but each time they used anything electrical our fridge would turn off and come back on when they turned off, same in our van couldn’t use even our control panel for water or the pumps or it would turn the fridge off,all we could run was our fridge with everything else turned off.not sure if it’s a long cable to the power supply causing the lack of voltage, but definitely needs some thought.if our fridge worked on gas which unfortunately it doesn’t we would have run everything off the caravans gas and 12v.if the power issue was resolved we would definitely return .

Lovely quiet campsite with beautiful views.
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Beautiful scenery
Proximity to Beaminster
Adults only site, no dogs.
Hot showers that stay on.
Owners were very helpful.
Disliked Electricity wasn't good enough to keep our fridge on so had to use our gas.
Toilet block wasn't cleaned daily.
No separate hose for filling up our motorhome tank so had to use the same hose as people clean their toilet cassettes with.
Entrance to site needs cleaning up as large mounds of rubble/soil lying around.
Our pitch had a large piece of metal sticking out that could have caused us a puncture.
Pitches weren't level.
2 x outside lights weren't working on the toilet block.

From the manager: Hi Linda,
Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy Willow Farm camp site and had some issues. We were in contact with you several times during your stay trying to sort out the electric issue. Not sure why there was a problem as we’ve not had any issues at all since we’ve been open. However, we can only accommodate smaller campers but have had no problems up to now. I messaged you to offer a part-refund for non-electric for the period you stayed but had no reply. And Tom offered another electric pitch & gas cylinder for you which I imagine worked as we didn’t hear from you again & assumed it was working fine. The showers are cleaned regularly but when they are used a lot through the day there will be grass from the site which can’t be helped. But apologies if they were not found to be clean enough.
The site is on a slight hill so is slightly uneven but we find most people park side on or use wedges.
The hose as my husband explained to you at the time is for the cassettes and there is another hose and plenty of available clean water on the site. The entrance is still in progress and the rubble is being used to make the area flat and to park when it’s wet.
As for the ‘rave’ I have no idea where this music was coming from as we were tucked up in bed.. but we do have several neighbours nearby.
Sorry you didn’t talk to us about your concerns such as the metal etc as we chatted several times to you during your stay and would have happily dealt with your concerns while you were here.
All the best. Sharon and Tom
