Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty camping at West Tober offers a truly unique experience, set against the backdrop of Garrow Tor and the magical Brown Willy. Explore the breath taking wildness of Bodmin Moor, set in private land within private land, this is the first time we have ever welcomed vistors to enjoy a stay in our untamed world. West Tober itself is a traditional Cornish longhouse dating back several centuries -an original Cornish Farmstead. Visitors are welcomed to find a spot to enjoy over 13 acres, and enjoy the natural tranquility on offer. With wild Red Deer often seen roaming in surrounding fields, and if you are lucky a wonderful Stag. The rugged surroundings are spectacular, bathed as the Sun goes down in golden light- a sight to behold. Wilderness, peace and quiet seeped in ancient history, and monuments- a wonderful experience to recharge your energies and gaze in wonder at the nature surrounding us. So if you are looking for a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life book yourself a pitch.

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
  • Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
  • Units longer than 8.5 metres are not allowed.
  • Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
  • No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
  • Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
