Beautiful, peaceful spot with big sites & clean facilities (solar showers!). Lovely moorland location, friendly staff, cute farm animals. Campfires okay. Most loved it, but some noted a lack of staff & noise from others. Narrow approach roads a minor hitch.

Liked Very nice yurt well-equipped, wood burning stove kept us well heated. Enough room for 5-6 people. Picnic table outside and bbqs allowed. Clean toilets, play area for kids and many farm animals around
Disliked There were no lights inside the yurt so got very dark inside at night and toilets were a bit of a walk from the yurt

Liked Friendlyness of the owner and other people camping everyone very much kept to themselves, everything was very clean and tidy
Disliked There wasn’t anything for our child to do(age 1-2) it states online that there is a children’s play area there isn’t (it’s just a football field)

Liked A great area to be, have a camp fire in superb surroundings and chill out. The wash down areas, toilets and showers were excellent. The home made minted lamb burgers they sold were very tasty. I very much enjoyed my stay there and will return.

Good facilities , clean and a rustic feel about the shower and toilet blocks .
