What customers say
A little ripper campsite, kept spick and span with a top-notch, friendly mob running it. The ensuites are a treat, always spotless. Great spot for checking out Bodmin and beyond. Folks love the chill vibe, heaps of room, and extras like brekkie pastries and pizza nights. Just a heads-up on shower timers and the odd queue when it's busy.

Lovely stay

Liked Clean and tidy. Warm water was nice as visited in very cold weather, so shower was pleasantly warm. Liked that the toilet, sink and shower in one room, so felt private for getting ready.
Disliked having to press a button to keep shower going, had to press it every 10 seconds!
Not meeting anyone that worked at sight, would've been nice to introduce themselves. Can't give any stars for customer service as there wasn't any.
Only found WIFI password as we left as no one told us where to look for it

A nice site which when clean would be lovely.

Liked Bodmin is so centrally located it's great, north to Port Isaac one day, south to Polperro another and all the walking right on the door step. The campsite itself was well spaced. There were a reasonable amount of people coming and going considering it was Christmas but we didn't feel overlooked or cramped at all. The site is slopping but the pitches were level enough. In our camper we managed without wedges, it wasn't uncomfortable. The individual shower rooms are a great idea.
Disliked In three nights we saw no staff. Which from a customer service point of view isn't great. It's manageable as long as nothing goes wrong and I get it there's no need to have someone on site all the time, wandering around, it's not a big site. But this extended to not seeing anyone clean either and that was awful. The lovely shower rooms were filthy and the bins in them untouched. I would also be concerned that if the site was full in summer, the wait for a toilet would be mental. It's also quite hard to tell if there are people in the shower rooms, not all the locked showed as engaged and some of the doors were heavy and sticky so I could imagine a queue forming when some of the rooms are actually vacant.
I wasn't really expecting to be able to buy a coffee or order bread out of season but nowhere actually said when it was open.
