What customers say

Right by the A1, this pop-up site has killer coastal and castle views. Folks love the helpful staff, easy check-in, and neat mowed pitches. It's peaceful, clean, and good value. More loos would be ace, but the current ones are spotless. Dog-friendly with fire pits – a top spot for a chill escape!

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked Basic site which is reflected in the pricing . Site is comprised of two areas one being a grassy field type and the other more rugged pitches on a hill which I went for & enjoyed amazing views of the coast & night skies. Pitches aren't particularly flat but manageable . Two portaloos , some bins and a tap . Really enjoyed my stay.

Disliked Portaloos are never ideal but they are what they are , they were well stocked, reasonably clean & I was mentally prepared for them haha

Unpowered grass motorhome site

Liked Lovely views, you can see the coast, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island from the site. Plenty of space, great that you can have campfires, friendly owner. Good location and convenient for local tourism.

Disliked Slight hum from the A1 but distant enough to not be a concern for us. Bit slopey in places but some level spots.

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked Quiet field down a country lane. Bamburgh Castle visible in the distance. Good value at £15 per night. Petrol station nearby where you could get supplies (wine, beer, bread etc).

Disliked Extra charge for second dog. Don’t understand why. Portaloo toilet ok for one night. One of them was out of action (not pleasant). Not many level pitches. Water supplied onsite is not suitable for drinking, so be prepared with bottled water if you want to make a drink.
