What customers say
Great value, prime beach spot. Friendly staff, clean site. Guests rave about warm showers, handy fish & chips, and easy access to town/buses. Mostly peaceful, but can get busy. Steep steps to beach. Lots want to return!

Good site, friendly staff. Hard pitches are level.
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Of course this time of year it was Quiet on site, lovely staff. Access directly onto the beach. {90 odd steps so not for the unfit or elderly like my pup!} Site is just off main road, so easy to find and easy access to local facilities, supermarkets and food outlets 3 mins away. Toilet block was clean and warm.
Disliked The site roads are a bit pot holed but you're driving slow so not too bad, unfortunately it was made worse by terrible weather but the pitch was level and drained well. The toilet block was ok but could do with an air freshener of change of cleaning chemical.

Good value for a winter stop over.
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Location, price and the friendly welcome.
Disliked Smell in the toilet block. The block appeared to be very clean, however they smelt like a public toilet which put me off using the showers. Some air freshener or change of toilet cleaning chemicals would easily change this.

Good site if you want a winter break. It's getting a big tired though

Liked Good value for money pitch electricity included @£16 per night. Good facilities cleaned regularly well heated
Disliked Site is not the most attractive but if is winter. Be prepared for a large quantity of non tourers of all types. The pitch we had was in a corner with little privacy

Liked Very good site and very reasonably priced . Amenities very clean.
Disliked We we’re opposite the toilet block unfortunately long term campers driving there and leaving engines running apart from the noise depending on the wind direction we could smell their fumes.

Very clean and warm toilet facilities.…
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Very clean and warm toilet facilities.
Disliked Stones far too deep on pitch which made it impossible to get off. We had to get towed off by a tractor. This took a while and was embarrassing. Too many seasonal worker pitches who were up and about from about 5.30am slamming doors and leaving for work. We have enjoyed The Hollies previously but not this time. No sorry for the inconvenience of getting stuck or any offer of any distress and inconvenience refund.

A good site in a great location at a reasonable price.
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Friendly efficient staff, well heated, clean, facilities block and plenty of hot water for showers. Very reasonable fees.
On-site fish & chips, also very friendly with good advice.
Direct access to the beach and on to Kessingland with good restaurant, pubs and more fish & chips!
Nice dark site, good for astronomy, but have a torch to hand at night.
Disliked The 92 steps to climb back up to the site from the beach(!), though they are very sturdy, just think of it as equivalent to your daily 5,000 steps :-)
A pity no WiFi, but made for a quiet weekend.
