What customers say
Friendly staff are a highlight, with a great rural setting and plenty of space for kids. Clean site and bungalows, communal kitchens are a plus. Some showers need updating, and fishing/activities can be hit or miss.

Really great little haven
Cabin
Liked The 2nd time we've stayed overnight and cannot fault it. Staff great, clean, fun, accommodating, everything supplied for a great few nights with kids.
Disliked Just a shame the cafe closed, but understandably as quiet. The tuck shop is great though.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here…
2 bedroom ready tent
Liked We throughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning. The staff are so friendly and accommodating it made my son want to come back (he isn’t a keen camper). We stayed in the cabin having originally booked a ready tent and the staff upgraded us to the cabin to ensure my son enjoyed his trip. It was clean and comfortable with only 3 of us in there we had loads of room! I love the fact no cars are allowed on the tent/cabin area which keeps it safe for children to play on the field. The showers are clean as are the toilets my only issue was the bugs and spiders and webs which is totally expected given it’s in a wooded area, more my issue than the sites :-). We enjoyed no WiFi but you get signal if you need. The sites not overcrowded, I felt relaxed and safe.
Activities: we didn’t book in advance and will be doing that next time so didn’t do any but there is plenty to choose from. Kitchen area was clean, with a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. Location is ok with a co- op 5 mins away and 40mins to Cromer Beach.
We stayed 3 nights and could have easily stayed longer. I’d definitely recommend this site.
Disliked Nothing :-)

Liked Peacefulness. Help given & attentiveness of all staff. Communal kitchen area (everything we needed) Tutoring of activities (very good)
(It would have been good to have other activities on offer when we were staying)
Disliked Showers- long time becoming hot. Not very powerful.
A vacuum cleaner in the accommodation (we would have liked to cleaned the floor each day)

Would visit again.
Highland 1 bedroom bunkhouse (four person)
Liked Facilities were nice and clean. Chickens were a great hit and the geese had babies. The onsite shop was nice and the communal cooking area is a nice touch.
Disliked There were no activities on and no prior warning to this until the day we were due to arrive.

Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked It was nice and quiet, we had a love walk exploring and seeing the activities you do with kids. The Cafe did a lovely toasted egg and bacon sandwich eggs fresh from onsite chickens. Pub was about 15-20 walk that had a food truck outside and the other shops were about another 5 minutes walk. It was lovely to see the ducks and geese walking freely and doing what they wanted. Shower and toilets have been refurbished and looked lovely. Definitely planing on returning.
