  • Pop-up site at a Norfolk working farm just outside the Broads
  • BeWILDerwood Norfolk 10 minutes' drive; 15 minutes to the coast
  • Home to a microbrewery with a taproom on site
A pop-up campsite with a microbrewery on site? Sounds like a fine setup, right? Well, that’s what you’ll get at The Farm Camping, part of a Norfolk working farm just outside the Broads National Park. This is a handy location for all sorts of Norfolk activities, including walking or boating around the Broads, hitting the beaches of the north coast or spending time fishing, horse riding or cycling. The nearest pub is about 10 minutes’ walk away – but you won’t have to go that far if you don’t want to, as the farm is home to the Wildcraft Brewery, which has a taproom in one of the traditional red-brick barns (and picnic tables outside for an alfresco drink on a sunny day). As a pop-up site the facilities here are fairly simple, but you’ll have access to toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a wifi connection, and you’re welcome to bring a barbecue for your meals. Dogs, families and groups are all welcome.

What customers say

Lovely staff, roomy spots & a cracking brewery! Great value, handy for the Broads/beaches. A few grumbles about noise, shower queues & prickly pitches, but management's on the ball.

Liked The owners were so lovely and friendly and facilities were very nice and well looked after! Not much service (I'm vodafone)/wifi but this was quite nice to unplug! And if you are camping you dont need it really! If you get stuck for wifi they do have it in the brewery though! A really relaxing and lovely stay! Thank you! X

Liked Beautiful campsite. Amazing brewery and tap room on site. Nice bbq, but would have been nicer to have a wider range than hotdogs.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Disliked Apparently they only open on selected times of the year, so more dates please!

Liked Good location. Nice having a bar there with food over the Weekend. Would go back if facilities improved and upgraded.

Disliked Downside of campsite no proper facilities for washing dishes or hot water outside to cater for cleaning up. There is one cold tap outside. No signs for Drinking water. And could do with more showers and maybe communal fridges for ice packs. Has a potential to be a lot better regarding facilities to make it a great campsite. It has the space to improve but just needs better investment.

Liked Really friendly laid back owners. Great location with access to the tap room (fun venue, good beer), 2 good pubs and 15 mins drive to the beach. Decent shower block. Everything we needed at a great price.

Liked Good facilities, good beer. Quingo was fun!

Disliked Bins could have been a bit easier to find and accessible! I did spot other campers piling up their rubbish bags on a random corner because the bins were tucked away behind the storage units.

Liked Stayed here last year and knew I'd come back instantly. They have made lots of improvements, bar area is bigger, shower was perfect. Highland cows not far from our tent was a good highlight too. Staff/owners were brilliant again and I'll definitely be coming back

Liked Economical price appreciated
Lovely friendly staff, useful to have someone there in the bar most of the day. Also pop up pizza van was lovely to have.
Good number of portaloos. Fresh drinking water and washing up area.
Lovely trees, nice view over open farmland. Good location for beaches and broads, although both were a drive away.

Disliked I really did stress test this site as I stayed on the night before the August bank holiday Monday!
Having said that, all the toilet paper was gone and not replaced. Fair enough I always bring my own anyway.
I didn't shower as only staying one night and heading to beach next day
It was INCREDIBLY noisy with campers who seemed to think tent camping = party. Playing music on their large outdoor speakers and flying their mini drones over the other campers :-(
Sadly I won't be risking a return visit unless music is banned or there is a quiet zone or field well away from the party people, for those who prefer either listening to the birds or their own music through headphones....
Also I couldn't find any decent footpaths walking distance from the site for walking the dog but that's an issue in alot of places.
