What customers say

This quiet, bush campsite has roomy spots, super clean amenities, and really friendly, helpful staff. Guests loved the spotless showers/toilets and the handy games barn for kids. Its central spot's perfect for seeing Norfolk. Minor grumbles: few footpaths near busy roads, dodgy Wi-Fi sometimes. Most would defo come back.

The Dell powered grass tent site (small)

Liked Lovely location. Clean showers and toilets. Hosts were fantastic (Shaun in particular was so lovely and helpful). Reasonably priced fire wood. Nice to have chess board, table tennis table available too.

Disliked Nothing.

The Dell powered grass tent site

Liked Was on the lower level. Lovely spacious pitches under the trees. Was so beautiful at night and peaceful in the day. Very clean shower unit and toilets. Modern cafe area. Very helpful staff. Loved the fact it was car free so children had freedom to roam. Very quiet after 10pm.

Disliked The steps and slope to the lower level were tricky, so would have been perfect to have a shower unit on the lower level, or at the very least a place to clean out our own toilets. Frogs everywhere 😫

The Glade powered grass tent site

Liked Lovely campsite, great facilities, really nice area. Fab showers, toilets and washing g up area and the fridge/freezer area was super handy.
Really helpful staff. Lovely site would definitely recommend. Lots to do in the area too and shops nearby which was handy. Can catch a bus into Norwich.

The Glade powered grass tent site

Liked Lovely and friendly, well run smaller camping site. Loved our stay, we pitched up on the glade under a tree which was perfect as shaded for our little ones and close to the facilities. All the facilities were kept very clean. The clubhouse and bar is like brand new super clean, was very quiet but had pool table and small kids toys too so a bit of something for them all. Down on the dell pitches is the barn, which had table tennis. Again more to help keep entertained, we didn't really use it as weather was lovely for our stay.

Disliked Not an issue for us, but if being on WiFi is of a concern it's not the strongest signal, but your camping, go play explore!

The Dell powered grass tent site

Liked Beautifully kept grounds! It's not a boring field. It's separated into two different sections. One is flat and near the showers/flushing toilets, and the other one is more sloping but is so chilled and surrounded by trees.
As it's a no car site they transport your luggage on an electric cart. They were very patient as we packed and loaded the car which i massively appreciated.
We took 3 dogs and there was a simple wooded walk alongside the golf course, leading on the site as well as a few locally.
As we were in the bottom field with the composting toilets I mainly used them. No matter what time I used them they were spotless, smelled nice and had everything you would need, the best composting toilets I've used. The showers and flushing toilets were also clean and well equipped. Im very fussy about things being clean and i was really happy.
There's a bar inside the bowling club and they can cook meals if you check ahead.
Lidl is fairly close for getting pastries for breakfast. They have a fridge, freezer, prepping area and sink so easy to cook and store food.
The closest and very pretty beach at overstand was about a 30/40 minutes drive with good parking.
A big thank you to Maxine and Ethan for their friendly and welcoming arrival and departure.

Disliked The grass cutting on the golf club was a bit noisy.
Builders are working close by and started early. Neither the fault of the campsite.
WiFi was very intermittent.

The Glade powered gravel and earth campervan site

Liked Amazing place. The people were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were spotless and modern. This is an absolute gem of a campsite. Will be our new goto for sure.

The Dell powered grass tent site

Liked Lovely site, surrounded by trees and with good spacious pitches.
The facilities were some of the cleanest we've seen.
We really liked the ability to play ping-pong in the barn and it's also a good shelter from the rain.
Very safe and child friendly.
Water tap available near the tent.
Plenty of space available for keeping food/drinks in the fridge and freezer.
Management was very friendly and they even allowed us a later check-out.

Disliked The lighting in the barn could be better (it is quite dim).
It would have been nice to have showers and toilets connected to the waste system in the Dell area (I know that there are technical challenges with that).
The path up to the Glade area is very dusty, so shoes/feet get dirty easily. Also there is no light there after sunset.
