What customers say
This adults-only spot's a ripper for a chill holiday, with plenty of room on flat sites. Staff, especially Warden Ralph, are legend and always happy to help. The fishing lake's a big hit, and the White Swan pub next door's got good tucker and a friendly vibe. Most reckon it's spick and span, though a few blokes mentioned the loos and showers could do with a bit more elbow grease and more facilities when it's chockers. Still, heaps of folks can't wait to get back.

Lovely site would definitely stay again

Liked Lovely site, frendly owners, great little fishing pond which is free to fish in.3 toilets and 1 shower kept very clean. Nice little quirky pot washing area. Fresh water and toilet waste drop. Nice pub on the door step and a fantastic curry restaurant within a five minute walk.
Disliked No gray waste grate. Needs a rethink as mostly motor homes while we were there asked about dropping tank and was asked to drop on pitch. New owners so have time to update.

Nice site, looked after by the friendly warden
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Easy to find, off the main road in and out of village but no road noise that bothered us. Welcomed by the very friendly warden, Ralph ( his polo shirt had Paul on??) Nice chap, full of information. Site is lovely, very quiet while we were there but it was midweek, apparently the weekend was very busy. Weather were told there is a bit of work planned for the future, more statics and fountain? There is a fishing lake which is nice to go see. Pitches well spaced out. Facilities kept very clean. Wash up area could be a bit better laid out, 2 sinks but one drainer?? There are residential statics on site. Next door is a pub, we had a meal in there and it was delicious.
Disliked We booked the site as there was a bus route to get into Lincoln, only to wait 20-30 mins at bus stop until a local walking by told us that there are no longer any buses as nobody used them.
We suggested to Ralph that the details on their website be changed to let potential customers know there are no buses as when your travelling without a car its important to have local transport to use.

Liked Loved how you were left to get on with your break without a lot of red tape and rules. Paul the site manager was a lovely man and always helpful with whatever problem you had. I went for a spot of fishing and wasn’t sure if my wife would like it but she did, the facilities were well kept site quiet and relaxing and she is already looking at when we can go again. Well done Swan lake you have got it bang on.
Disliked Nothing to complain about

Liked Lovely little site, Paul was very friendly. The site is very clean throughout. Situated just behind a pub that does home cooked meals, and a good Indian estaurant in walking distance. Fishing lake which is in the price of your stay..

Liked We have stayed here a few times as it is within half an hour of home so very convenient for a short weekend away, and is one of our favourites. The site is well kept and the pitches are spacious which we like as we have a twin axle caravan and our daughter often stays with us with her dog, so we have space to enclose the pitch for the dog. The toilets and shower are clean and modern. It is quiet at night, but is close to the road so can be heard but is generally unnoticeable. The White Swan pub is very welcoming and serves great food, and there is an Indian restaurant/takeaway 2 minutes walk away which is also very good.
