Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff & stunning views
Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Gorgeous campsite with the most tranquil views. Perfect getaway for all the family & especially those that like fishing, being right at the side of a fishing lake! Perfect for those with a dog like ourselves as there is a great big field to the back of the campsite and a lovely walk around. The hosts could not do enough for us and was so helpful, polite and friendly! The facilities were very clean and have everything you would need including a fridge, microwave, kettle etc. We would definitely return in the future. Thank you

Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Really pleasant campsite. Cozy and friendly and perfect for a very chilled Bank Holiday weekend. We didn’t fish but we did enjoy a few beers watching others fish. Also a good area for cycling; we did a 49km route taking in East Kirby to see the Lancaster.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site
Liked We stayed for 4 nights over the bank holiday weekend in our caravan with a 4 year old and my sister was pitched up in her tent on the pitch next to us with her 2 girls.
Sue met us when we arrived and showed us to are pitches, she was so helpful throughout are stay there, nothing was to much for her! We fished 3 out of 4 days as we went out for the day 1 day and altogether we caught 30+ fish, we couldn't believe how good the fishing was, best we've been to. It is a beautiful well kept site and lake.
We had a camp fire/fire pit one night which was good fun and the children enjoyed marshmallows on sticks and had BBQ's a few times too.
The toilet, shower and kitchen facilities were lovely and clean.
Overall I can't say anything but good things about this site and the lovely people who run it!
We will definitely be good back again.
Thank you for an amazing 4 days.

Beautiful site, exceptionally clean, friendly ducks and lovely owners
Unpowered grass tent site (maximum 4-berth)
Liked EVERYTHING!!
The best site we have every been to. its so beautiful and peaceful and set out so well. Sue works her socks off and keeps the facilities sparkling and clean. She's always around to check everything is ok and make sure there aren't any problems (there weren't).
I'd messaged her beforehand because my 12 year old was trying fishing for the first time and she asked another camper to help him out before we arrived which he did and took my boy under his wing.
Everyone who was there was happy and friendly and it was just the kind of place that made you feel happy.
Mablethorpe Beach (beautiful beach) is less than 30 minutes drive away, as is Skegness if you want (recommend the Aquarium).
Wood Farm has everything you need and some incredibly funny ducks that I could watch all day as they were really entertaining - you have to see them to understand.
Disliked There was nothing to dislike - it was perfect

Unpowered grass tent site (maximum 4-berth)
Liked Great campsite surrounding a well stocked (by the look of it) fishing lake. We went with friends and had a brilliant two night stay. Before arrival we chatted to Sue on the phone with some questions and she obliged on all fronts, she then met us for check in and is clearly passionate about the site. We had two large pitches which gave us space to stretch out - we also for sole use of the wooden pergoda for free which was a great spot for shade/ keeping dry. We will be booking again.
