Great views & chill vibe. Spacious sites, legend host. Toilets spotless! Back-to-basics bliss, handy pub, honesty box a ripper. A bit windy/sloped for some, but top spot, heaps keen to head back.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Stunning views/location, peaceful and quiet, 5 min walk from a great pub and plenty of spaces for children to play safely, and very clean toilets.
Disliked Nothing. For those who complain about the sloping fields, it’s the Peak District if you want flat pitches, visit Lincolnshire.

Liked Great location with beautiful views. Toilets were very clean. Honesty box shop really well stocked. Very reasonable price. Jade keeps this place running smoothly, really hands on also offering great advice in local places to eat etc. it’s really nice that you can have a camp fire. Fire pits and fuel available onsite. Beautiful views with clean toilets
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Beautiful views of mountains, cattle and greeneries all around. Clean toilets. Spacious pitches. Had sufficient mobile signal for mobile data on my Lebara sim. Toilets were cleaned regularly. Pleasant early morning walks admiring incredible views of the nature.
Disliked Not disliked but it is what it is. Gets crowded in the weekend because of large fields with spacious pitches and toilets gets busy in the weekend mornings. No shower but it is mentioned in the description. Gets noisier with lots of children screaming and shouting. Avoid weekends if possible if you want to enjoy peaceful time in nature.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we never over crowd the campsite yes it does get busier over a weekend as do many places I’m sure in the summer school holidays but we are very conscious with how many bookings we take. We do like to think that with their being 5 fields spread over 6acres there is plenty of space for everyone☺️

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely campsite, well kept and very clean facilities. 4 toilets with sinks inside. Toilet rolls, hand wash and paper towels provided. 2 sinks for washing pots outside. Never had to queue.
Gorgeous views and can watch the gliders and para gliders overhead.
Got told off for noise as we were a bit giggly going to bed at 10.30 which is fair enough as noise curfew is 10 pm.
Lovely pub 5 minutes walk down a track.
Definitely visit again
Disliked Weren’t aware there was another farm campsite in adjoining fields. It was quite noisy at times.
One night a camper van arrived just before midnight, trying to park, revving its engine and slamming doors with people talking.
Would advise not pitching up that side if that would bother you.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review. I do have a wander round the site about half 10 and if there is anything that can be disturbing I will politely ask a gentle reminder that it is past 10 and if the noise could be kept down. With our location being so open sounds can travel.
And apologise with the site next door I do try to get to people before they are pitched to let them know there is a separate site next door. Unfortunately it is out of my control if there is any disturbing behaviour there but my phone is always on and I will still try my best to resolve any issues.
Look forward to seeing you all in the future☺️
