The toilet and shower block was probably the best we have ever found, spotlessly clean and spacious. The swimming pool was lovely and the shop was well stocked. The reception staff were really helpful as well. Good bus service from just outside the site was very useful.

Showers/toilets also immaculate, and great to have a shower and sink within one cubicle and plenty of space and hooks to hang clothes etc on. Pitches and surroundings really well cared for. Loved the takeaway service as an alternative when we didn't feel like cooking.
Δεν μου άρεσε: Not the campsite's fault as it seems to be standard across many campsites now sadly, but noise levels after 9pm -11pm were high some nights, and we had children shouting and running right next to our tent, which made it difficult for my daughter to get to sleep.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay but sorry that it was spoilt by some other guests. We do request quiet times between 11pm and 7 am, guests are asked to keep an eye on their children at all times. For future reference there is a duty warden number on the reception door when it is closed or if you report a problem to reception the following morning and know where the children came from the staff would have a quiet word.

It was our son's first time camping and he absolutely loved it. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were a hit and the small playground was great to burn off any excess energy. the location was great for Yarmouth and the west side of the island and only 30 minutes from Sandown/Shanklin etc. The staff are a credit to this site and every single one was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. the cleanliness was really good and the toilet block in particular with a great number of toilets, showers, and sinks. We found the whole experience over the week to be relaxing and fun. If you have young children, the 2 large areas of grass towards the bottom of the park were great for them to play on and our 4 year old made friends very quickly!

Although the area was hilly they had stepped the pitches so that they were level . This also helped to define your space . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely countryside views too. The toilet, shower block was huge and clean. Great washing up facilities and a laundry (we didn’t use the laundry)

Thank you for your review, I'm pleased to hear the facilities were to your liking.
The grounds team are not supposed to start preparing pitches until after their morning tea break at 10 so they shouldn't start mowing until 1030 at the earliest. They do need to get the pitches ready for the incoming guests at 2pm and if they can be ready sooner everyone likes an early check in. I will have a word with the team to ensure they are not starting earlier than this.

Δεν μου άρεσε: I know its out of your control but the people that turned up on the tent pitch next to us were so noisy, playing music till late, had fire pit with smoke blowing into our tent. This should have been policed better and they should have been warned but got away with it. If i was staying all week we have packed up and left but thankfully it was only 1 night we had to endure.

We are sorry to hear that you were disturbed by some inconsiderate guests. We don't have the man power to patrol the park after the office closes. There is always a phone number displayed on the reception door if you have any "out of hours" problems, if we are made aware we will have a word with them. We do ask guests to adhere to our quiet times between 11pm and 7am but sadly there will always be a minority ruining it for the majority.
It's a shame that you don't want to visit again as we would love to welcome you back.
