The pitches are flat with enough room each side with grass patch for each
Nice, quiet site in a quiet area .Lovely river flowing on the back..the wi-fi was excellent .the only downside is the 2 cockerels which start thier crowing at about 1 to 2am then the other starts little later..not ideal if you are wanting a lye in..or nap during the day..peace and quiet. Not the campsites fault as this was across the river in a separate house.
The pub next door is nice, lots of ales , foods ok, not the cheapest.Δεν μου άρεσε: The cockerals (which arnt the campsites fault) but dont do it any good.

I am sorry to hear that the Cockerels have had such an affect on your stay, resulting in leaving us a 7 out of 10 review, as you have stated on your review the cockerels have nothing to do with The Old Post Office campsite, likewise with the pub. unfortunately these dislikes are out of our control. but we are glad to hear you enjoyed everything about the Campsite.

Δεν μου άρεσε: this site lends itself to Motorhomes the pitches are quite small and the site is quite tight to manover around if your van is of a reasonable size, there is little space and i would say caravaners will need to park in the overflow car park away from your van

I thought i would address some of your dislikes.
The Bins are signposted. Along with this, every customer is given a welcome brief and part of that welcome brief they are shown where the bins are located, every customer is also given paperwork and on that paperwork it tells you where the bins are located, there is a member of staff on site, if you are still unsure after the brief and the paperwork, then a member of staff will happily show you again where the bins are located.
The laundry room doesn't have any information in it, it is a laundry room, the little office on the end of the building, which is also briefed on arrival is where all the information is held, in there you will find an abundance of leaflets of things to do locally, along with local taxi numbers and local restaurants and eating facilities including their locations. There is always a member of staff on site they are more than happy to point you in the right direction with regards to local walks, we also have some maps in the office that we are happy to lend, if you don't have your own, our staff are there to help and make your stay a best as it can be, if you are unsure all you have to do is ask and they will happily help and guide you in the right direction. :-)
