Size of pitches and size campsite.

Shower and toilet facilities were always filthy! The showers were push button and lasted 5 seconds! Then went ice cold and scorching hot! There was no middle ground!
Toilets were always wrecked! No toilet roll in any by the evening!
The rule of no open fires! Well there seemed to be a lot of fire pits. Never saw a camp warden! Quiet time after 21.30! No it was not!

Someone from the seasonal / permanent pitch, walked past and took my children's helmets! They were using them as a goal, came in for 10 minutes and they were gone! Got a good description from someone who witnessed it, a walk around the campsite, and found them outside their pitch!
Reported to reception, but they didn't seem bothered!

Play park on site was not appealing to thw children.

No activities for under 8yos available at the centre! No jeeps, no archery, no inflatables in the lagoon. Called to enquire and the person on the phone was rude and hung up!

Clean quiet site. Walking distance to Nottingham city

Electric pitch

Arrived, pitch was occupied by a car from another camper. Couldn’t pitch tent properly until they returned hours later, no help from either emergency no or reception didn’t even check or comeback to see if it had been moved.

Requested pitches near to family weeks in advance, was pitched furthest away from each other yet other people we spoke to was pitched together. Was told it was fully booked, was far from it.

Website advertises all water sports and activities for kids. Wipeout lagoon isn’t there and won’t be this summer, mini defenders also not there for younger children. Not a lot to do for younger children.

Showers literally stay on for 3 seconds and temperatures are all over the place, hot then cold then scorching, not good for younger children.

Literally Take your money, send you codes and that’s it. Won’t return here.

The site is very well thought out , plenty of bins , toilet and shower facilities and pot washing areas

Sadly the showers and toilets are not maintained and cleaned often enough. On many occasions ( at varying times of the day and night) they were extremely dirty and there was no soap or toilet roll.
The staff in the small coffee shop near the Sky trail were not at all helpful
When I asked where I should go to pay for this activity. There was litter and rubbish on the decking outside - it was very off putting . Such as shame as this could be a really thriving little place!

Tents arriving to be set up in the middle of the pitch in the park - kids needed room to play football etc

Size of pitches was really good and plenty of space for children to play, access to national water sports centre and activities. Pre booking information.

Shower and toilet facilities were disgusting, no staff at reception, no clear instructions on site to things like bins. The facilities is what you pay for and they were not up to the standard you would expect. Cleaning took place at the busiest time in the morning when everyone needed to use the facilities therefore nothing got cleaned as they were in use. Only one cleaner on site.

The toilet & shower block was clean.
Pitches had plenty of space around them.
