The range of nearby activities was excellent. There were plenty of toilets and showers so I never had to queue. The tent pitches left plenty of room.

The cleanliness of the showers and toilets left a lot to be desired and some were in a state of disrepair.

The campsite seems to allow people to play loud music at unsociable hours.

Pitch size and play park was fab. Good location for the water sports centre.

Toilets and showers were old and dirty. Never saw anyone cleaning them.
The onsite shop hardly sells anything useful, and was closed more than it was open.
The first night there was a large group on site, who were drinking and partying until gone 1.30am. This group also had a fire pit even though the site rules say no fire pits. Never saw anyone patrolling the site in the 3 days we were there, so if you're looking for a site that you can basically do what you want and nobody will be checking up on you then this is the place for you! I certainly won't be returning.

Toilets-both male & female toilets were disgusting. The male more so than the female. All toilets were blocked/didn’t flush. Floors were filthy as were showers.
Really disappointing for such a lovely site.

Found it difficult to check in as no one was available at reception (the shop was closed due to staff illness) or no answer on any of the phone numbers provided.
Pre check in details were sent late because of an IT issue so we never had any gate codes etc.

Everything about the site as I go there maybe 7 times a year and love my stay there staff are always there to help you .if in need .thankyou to all the staff

Great location, on site shop and playpark, with lots of open spaces for the kids to enjoy.

Showers are only cleaned once a day, so end up being absolutely filthy by the evening. Also, no recycling facilities, which is a shame

Toilets smelt of urine due to so many people using them and children running freely (not against children at all but when they’re not supervised in toilets it ends up being one big puddle ). Showers were in the same cubicle as the loo so We left early in the morning to go to a friends to shower and use their loo. Small window in loo meant not a lot of ventilation . Did not see any wardens about and we were pitched next to people still in and out of their van at 2AM smoking a relaxing fragrant smoke.
Pitches run throughout the field so if you get a middle pitch there is no shade or shelter .

Loved the site, great pitches, easy booking and request for pitches alongside friends. Easy check in and good check in time.

Bathrooms/toilets specifically weren’t great and felt dirty. Only cleaned once and when the park is full needs to be cleaned more. Soap dispensers not topped up either during two day stay.

The park was clean, easy to navigate, Free WiFi, it had a great park area for the kids, plenty of space for them to burn off steam and have mini adventures. The shop was filled with everything you could need and had friendly staff. The site was big and offered plenty of space to make your pitch a home with a garden, the toilets and shower blocks were well maintained and the quantity was rather unexpected compared to other sites. Site was brilliant and easy to navigate, good flat ground for both tent campers and motor homes, just a short walk to the national water sport park (literally across a small road), had plenty of water filling stations scattered all over site, which were well needed in the hot weather we've had this weekend 30 degrees. Best campsite by far, well maintained, spacious and friendly, with plenty to offer on site and just on the doorstep of Nottingham city centre. Definitely recommend and will be returning 👌 great Annual birthday camping trip!!
