Location and cleanliness

Says WiFi is available but had to pay £6 per day to stream videos on device as weather was bad. Shouldn’t advertise WiFi available if it isn’t.

We liked this Campsite alot. Clean and tidy and very peaceful.

Lower Hyde park is a fantastic campsite. The entertainment the amenities and the staff all all great.

Excellent good value pitch. Great staff.

Pitch size with ehu. Tap and drain near level pitch. Good clean facilities. Site warden extremely friendly and helpful. Had good meals in restaurant where staff were very good.

We stayed out of season in October. Càmping pitches are large and well looked free. The warning faculties are clean and really well looked after.
Staff are really friendly. The amenities are great-our youngest (11) lived the Astro area. The pool at Landguard was warm and great for a swim.
On site shop is food and there is Lidl next door.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay at Lower Hyde Holiday Park – Can’t Wait to Return!

We recently stayed at Lower Hyde Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help — nothing was too much trouble.

The park itself is beautifully maintained with lovely green spaces, clean facilities, and a great family-friendly atmosphere. Our accommodation was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy, and the caravan was surprisingly spacious.

There’s plenty to do on site — two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a well-stocked bar and restaurant, and regular evening entertainment that was genuinely fun and well-organised. The entertainment team were brilliant with the kids and kept everyone laughing.

The location is ideal — close to Shanklin beach and old village, which are both must-visits. We loved being able to walk or take a short drive to local attractions and seaside spots. The park is also a great base for exploring the rest of the island, from Sandown to The Needles.

Overall, Lower Hyde has a lovely community feel and offers excellent value for money. Whether you’re after a family holiday, a relaxing break, or a fun getaway with friends, this park ticks all the boxes.
