Lovely setting and extremely safe. The walks around the site are beautiful with great views and two lovely pubs nearby.
Lovely cafe on site.

Wasps! Completely out of the site’s control but they are everywhere.
Only 2 showers on site however we heard that more are arriving in September.
Due to no electricity on site there is no option to keep food cool with ice blocks.
No lights in showers or toilets again this is due to no electricity.
The lake is lovely however very smelly due to the amount of weed and muck at the bottom could do with drenching

The camp site was amazing, took my little girl there and she had the best time and wants to go again, she’s already asking to go next year and will definitely come back, the staff were friendly and the amenities were great I could not fault Litton lakes at all I highly recommend

The lake was amazing, the children really enjoyed going out on the paddleboards. Showers and toilets were always clean. On site cafe is an excellent touch with amazing milkshakes and delicious toasties. Walking distance to the pub with Monday night pizza night, again delicious. Friendly staff.

I wouldn't park too close to the toilet/ shower block as in the mornings when it is highly used the smell comes up through the drains.

This is a lovely little site. The pitches are on one field, so it feels quiet. They were very welcoming on our arrival. There is a cafe on site. We really enjoyed swimming in and paddle boarding on the lake. There are nice walks to the pub (5 mins) and beach(1 hour) from the site. There are a couple of toilets, showers, all kept clean and well stocked. waste disposal, and hose pipes.

Great location to access beautiful dog walking routes. Large exercise fields for the dogs straight off the campsite. 5 minute walk across the field to the pub and also reasonable travelling/walking (an hour on foot) distance to the beach. A separate area for kids to play football or whatever. Lovely lake area with water sports (swimming, paddle boarding and canoeing) for those who want to, or just to sit by and watch.

I think that they are missing a trick by not being open in the cafe until 10.00am. They could sell a lot of breakfasts and coffees first thing and also coffees to go, for those setting off home, if they opened a little earlier in the morning. Also perhaps another hour in the afternoons as well for those not fancying cooking. (Although the pub is easily reached.) Level pitches.

I was travelling as a single older person with two dogs and mostly it was just what we needed, although obviously aimed at families and also mostly for shorter stays of 3 or 4 days. It is a good stop over if enroute somewhere else for longer holidays as well.

Liked the size of the site and good location

Maybe could do with an extra toilet or two. I found no issues, but friends commented that they felt they queued too much.

The lake is such a wonderful addition to a camp site, our children played on/in it for 6 hours one day!
The cafe serves excellent coffee & milkshakes!
The location was lovely & quiet, amazing clear skies to watch the meteor shower!!

There were only 3 toilets & 2 showers & although the team worked tirelessly to keep them clean & tidy with a site this size, perhaps if more were available they would be better maintained & available.

Lovely site and a friendly welcome for this family of camping novices dipping our toes in the water figuratively and literally!
