The space of the campsite was perfect, not too big and not too small.

The facilities were excellent, plenty of toilet & showers which were well maintained.

The surroundings were stunning and the lake was idyllic.

Absolutely everything… warm friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings, plenty of space , basic but more than adequate facilities…. Can’t wait to come again!!!

Peaceful and small site with a fabulous new shower block. The onsite cafe is lovely and the lake for paddleboarding is the icing on the cake. Being able to walk to the nearest pub is a bonus. The welcome is always cheerful and the availability of fire pits and logs is fab.

It would be nice if the cafe had longer opening hours. An onsite shop or visiting food van would be a welcome luxury as the nearest grocery store is about 20mins away. Access to a freezer for freezer blocks would be helpful as it’s a non electric site.

Relaxed and laid back feeling of the site. Direct access to the lake and peaceful evenings with very minimal noise. Lots of room for kids to roam free

A separate shop selling more goods would have been handy as well as longer opening hours for cafe.

Lovely, peaceful campsite with wonderful shower/toilet facilities. The lake is great for paddle boarding, swimming. Dogs well come

Not being offered a refund when I was involved in a head on collision (the other driver is being charged with dangerous driving). I emailed and explained that whilst I had narrowly missed the cancellation period (10 days notice), it was because I had no phone or Internet due to being in the critical care unit and having surgery on my dislocated fractured hip. My partner underwent surgery for multiple breaks to his arm. We had to be cut out of our car, I am still in hospital, however this campsite didn't even respond to my email and kept our money :(

Loved the lake and the large playing field.
Plenty of toilets and showers which were all clean.
Great cafe on site and super pub less than 10 minutes walk away.
Farm shop close as well.

We LOVED the lake. Great for kids/beginner paddleboarders!

The toilet and shower facilities were very clean.

The cafe was really lovely. Was great to be able to grab a coffee when watching friends on the lake.

Loved the lake!
The new shower block had better pressure and hotter water than the old one. Firepit was lovely!

Would be nice to have cleaning liquid and places to wash up and dry cooking gear.

Loads of ants on all of our tents in the morning.

I tried calling multiple times on arrival day, but couldn't get through all day.
