Toilets and facilities spotless and dog walk round the fields perfect for our two senior Labradors. Tough act to follow for our next campsite.

We seem to be starting a trend of a few words and we like that, but we also like to know what you've enjoyed! Hopefully you found everything we have to offer in terms of great level pitches, clean, warm facilities and lovely green grass. If you brought your dog you might have found the dog walk and burned off some energy and photographed the views from the Nab whilst out on the farm walk.

The new BBQ was a added bonus 🙂 . We travelled with our two dogs and was lovely to find a dog walk around the farm so they could have a run around . Would definitely visit again

Thanks for leaving a review of our family favourite, Willerby Lodge. Glad you found the dog walk, it's a great stretch to burn off some energy, for 2 legs and 4! The views out over the nab are ever changing with the seasons and daily sometimes if the weather is funny!

Lovely walks for dogs around the park in fields surrounding the site. Pitches are kept well and very tidy. Quiet park with beautiful surroundings. Short walk to the village and village pub serves lovely food. Will definatey be returning soon.

Great amenities for everyone an our doors legged pets plus a great field walk where you can see amazing wildlife and spectacular views. Easy walking distance for Kirbymoorside and Hutton le Hole. Great bus service too across the moors. We will be back.

Thanks for your lovely review. Lisa has been joined by Cheryl and John this year so we have 7 day coverage. They are usually about on site if you need anything or call the number on your arrival info, or pop into Reception and ring the bell. The dog walk is popular in that we expect all dogs to stay on their leads whilst on site but the farm walk allows you to let them off and have a run about, sticking to the path and not in our crops of course! The village is one of the top ten in the UK for all sorts of reasons so we're proud to welcome everyone and share where we live! Come and paddle in the beck!

The weather has not been kind this year has it!?! Today the sun is out and we are basking in a possible summer. The site is handy for things to do only a short car ride away if it's bad weather or you're welcome to relax on site with a good book!
Level pitches, good facilities and I would recommend to friends

The site itself was incredibly clean including the shower and toilet facilities. We didn’t use the washing machine or fridges however it was handy to know they were there. Pitches were nice and big and had plenty of space between each pitch. WiFi was also good on our pitch (Field B Pitch 11)

We invested heavily in sorting out the WiFi last year as we did get some comments about it. Now everyone seems happy to log in and use it. It's nice to have it noticed!
We list the size of the pitch as our minimum but some of our pitches are a bit bigger. It's not an exact science!

Thanks for leaving a review of your stay. We don't offer a wide range of items in the shop but you're welcome to come down anytime if there is anything you're short of that we might be able to help with. Years ago the shops in Kirkbymoorside closed at 5 and there was a need for all sorts of things. Now that the shops open so late we very rarely get asked for anything and it goes out of date before it sells. If it was a bigger site we might justify a bigger shop and someone to staff it but for now we just have a few essentials and are happy to pop in and serve you if you need something. You get a phone number on your arrivals information so always ring that if we can help in any way. Reception is usually open half an hour morning and night for our seasonal customers to buy their electric and the rest of the time we are on call, while we are cutting the grass, doing changeovers and welcoming new arrivals on their pitch.
