Site provides equipment to have a bbq so you don’t burn the grass. A lovely place to walk around with dogs and family, designated dog areas to let them roam free. Hard standing and grass pitch was nice and big. Easy access to water, electric and waste facilities. Washing up and laundry facilities also onsite.

Our BBQ stands are easy to pick up and pop on your pitch to raise those BBQs off the ground to maintain the lovely green grass. Thank you for your lovely feedback. So pleased that you enjoyed your stay!

The local farmer was also shooting the weekend we stayed but I’m sure this was unusual.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. If the lack of a farm shop was your only point of concern then I will for sure take that! We do not grow our own produce and as a very small site, a manned shop is a bit beyond our capacity. But we have lots of fabulous farm shops in our area which I would for sure recommend to our visitors :)

Lovely lake on site

Mix up on booking so initially we were taken to a pitch already occupied but soon sorted, no apology
If you have any concerns about the shower temperature please do let the staff know so we can adjust it as needed. Usually this only is an issue when we have extreme changes in weather - so we adjust the temperatures to suit the weather. It may have needed a little tweak. Not a problem just give us a shout :)

Thank you for your kind feedback, we aim to please! We are conveniently located and easily accessed from an A road but the campsite is set back on the property. So as you say it is largely protected from any noise from traffic.

Thank you for the lovely pictures! Indeed we are just a short drive from miles of forest walks for visitors to enjoy. Visitors are always so surprised at the amount of things there are to do and places to visit in the Forest Of Dean.

If you are travelling with a dog we are definitely set up for you. Fenced off-lead dog exercise areas, graveled paths around the site for dog walking and dog wash for those muddy wet days.
