Everything !!! pitches are great size and randomly placed so not regimented. Lovely communal area, clean toilets and showers, beautiful campsite with ponds, lots of flowers and natural planting - and an abundance of beautiful dragonflys to watch. Access to colemere lake is within metres from the site, also lovely canal walk into Ellesmere. Site was really peaceful during the day and really quiet at night. Owners are very helpful and have time to chat. This has to be one of our favourite sites, really pretty and well cared for and fantastic location. Will definately return.

I'd never stayed at an adult only campsite before (in 50 years!) and didn't realise how much more peaceful it would be.

Clean, attractive accommodation (Jacobs Hut)
Lovely hot tub (no bubbles but as hot as you want!)
Friendly hosts and loads of fun wildlife (ducks and rabbits will keep you entertained)

For perfection, which is a futile endeavour, I'd say black out curtain linings, a faster draining shower and better/faster WiFi in the lounge.

But honestly I'm clutching at straws to find fault with this amazing venue.

Excellent stay. We had a very warm welcome and given lots of info on walks, places to visit etc. Showers and toilets were perfect and cleaned many times throughout the day. Had a choice of pitch which really suited our needs. All in all a perfect stay.

This is an excellent site and the managers are incredibly helpful and supportive. The toilet area is spotless and the site is very well suited for a quiet relaxing break. We had a superb holiday.

We loved the site. The toilets snd showers were lovely and clean and especially liked the cabin that was a communal space with Wi-Fi music snd tv if needed - lovely idea.

Warm welcome from lovely hosts to a fabulous, adult only, relaxed and pretty site. Lots of pitches/ fields to choose from with lovely walks along the canal and around Colemere into Ellesmere. Lovely log cabin for socialising. Our highlight was after it rained there were dozens of little toads on the paths 😊

The ranch style doors on the toilets which are right by the hand washing sink and within hearing distance of the washing up area. I have never peed so quietly ! 😂 But seriously - we loved it and will visit again.

Everything. This is one of the best sites we have been to so far. It is very well laid out with a couple of pretty ponds. The pitches are not too close together and are a really good size. You get a choice of pitch which is really good.The facilities are really good and kept clean. There are plenty of walks from the site which is brilliant for dogs. Would definitely return.

WiFi is weak unless close to facilities. But this place is lovely so it's not an issue
