Considering the amount of rain there has been the of the upkeep of the grounds was superb.Owners are charming and all to happy to help with any problems

We walked along the canal in both directions to Ellesmere and Welshampton and would recommend food at the Sun Inn. I was worried initially that the bathroom facilities would be inadequate on a bank holiday weekend but it was all fine and did not have to wait for anything. Clean, and functional. The extra living/kitchen/bar space was a really nice touch and well used.

Clean and well stocked toilet and shower blocks (separate male and female).
Walks from the site to local pubs (about 2 miles away) through nature reserves and along canals.
Fantastic social area with kettle, toaster, fridges and microwave. Plenty of seating - but it was always quiet when we wanted to use it.
Well maintained site with loads of pitches to choose from.Δεν μου άρεσε: Could possibly do with an extra sink in each toilet block for busy times, but a minor issue.

We were in the field with the yurt and the glamping pods and huts and we were the only tent ⛺️ . At the end of our field is a gate which takes you to the col mere lake, its a circular walk around it and I loved doing it first thing in the morning. Showers were nice and hot. Near the showers is a lovely spacious room where you can go on the WiFi or just chill in there in the evenings with a drink and play some cards. The hosts of the site were nice and friendly and really helpful.
