So peaceful, loads of space and privacy, beautiful countryside, simple, with a good fire pit.

Lovely setting! meadow, a stream with a bridge over 😉 buzzards and a red kite in the skies and deer wandering about in the morning and evenings, pretty idyllic!
And Vicki is very lovely and accommodating!

There is so much space, the field is so well laid out it makes for a wild experience. Second time visiting. Love this site.

Peaceful, spacious pitch, private composting toilet, firepit and wooden table with benches. Lovely view and fantastic how field was only cleared where pitches were. Woods to explore or relax in the shade. Loved that it was a working farm.

Nothing

We’ve stayed here for many years in a row with a group of friends. We love it. Huge, spacious pitches very far away from each other so it feels like you have the place to yourself. We normally stay in brooks where the pitches are half in woodland and half in grass - perfect for all weathers. Lovely compost toilets. No running water but we prefer the minimal facilities. Water is left for you in big containers and you can request top ups. Vicky is always on hand if anything is needed but generally leaves you to it. There are hammocks and rope swings in the woods. There’s also a nice walk to a nearby pub and we always do a trip to the beach which is a 20 minute drive. 10/10 recommend if you like a basics, quiet camping experience.

The camp site was exactly what we were looking for. The area was secluded and had stunning scenery. It was lovely and quiet. A fire pit provided which was a lovely touch! Amazing host who introduced herself and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful woods if you wanted to take a stroll and swings and hammocks for the kids to enjoy! We will definitely be returning!

Amazing site. We were two families with older children (9 of us) and had plenty of space.
Vicky, the owner, is great and we had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

We loved our 4 night stay in this wonderful back to basic campsite. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The children loved playing in the woodland area at the side of the pitch. We stayed in Brooks 3 and although on a slope it was great. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Will definetly book again next year 😃

None what so ever

The pitch was quite and secluded and large enough for 3 tents plus our make shift kitchen area. There was ample space for the kids to play and run off excited energy. The hammock in the woods was a lovely place to relax and have a snooze. It's a lovely place for the scout in you to have some fun! The owners of the site where lovely and always if we needed anything.
