Very nice place for families with young children as well as for dog owners.
Lovely utilities for the children, a very well-priced shop, cooked food available btw the pizza was lush.
Feeding goats was a hit for our children. Lots of birds to see like Parrots and Owls.
The toilets were clean, checked and stocked up regularly.
The owner was very kind, friendly and very helpful.

Perhaps the train was too close.

Absolutely lovely little campsite. Very quiet and plenty of space. Best features were definitely the little goats and birds of prey, and of course the kids loved the playground. A real little gen.

Really well maintained site, very friendly, good facilities, within walking distance of a lovely village with a very good cafe.
Although the site was busy, it still felt like there was plenty of space.

Would be nice if there were more hedges/some way of splitting up the fields to give more of a feeling of privacy

Friendly and welcoming team.
Well maintained site with decent facilities and lots of extras like the falconry and goats.
Animals on site amused the kids, as did the playground and bouncy castle.
Lots of water points around the site which saved carrying heavy carriers far.
Open and spacious site which was easy to find, close enough to large town to deal with the bits we had forgotten to pack (first outing of the year!)

Hot water was a bit intermittent at the toilet block at the bottom of the site.
It is noisy if you are on the side of the site next to the train line. Didn’t spoil the trip by any means, but lighter sleepers would be disturbed.

Everything. This campsite was fantastic. We arrived late in the evening and the staff on site were more than helpful helping us get onto our pitch. Our children aged 15, 13 and 7 all had a really good time. They loved the goats, aviaries and the birds of prey. The man that was looking after the birds of prey was really lovely, explaining all about each bird to us which we thoroughly enjoyed.
There is an onsite shop that we bought ice creams from and they do cooked food which we had freshly made pizzas and they were delicious.
Really loved this site, well worth the long journey it took us to get here.

This camp site is amazing! There's everything you could ask for and more. Very well maintained and the staff are all super friendly. We loved every min of our stay. The kids loved the bouncy castle and play park as well as the ice cream van! We used the shop a few times which was so handy. The animals were a lovely extra that we haven't had before.
Showers were really also!

Family friendly campsite and there was so much for the kids to do, they were never bored.
Pitches are good value for money.
The location is absolutely perfect and set in a lovely village with a couple of pubs within walking distance.
Good shop on site with all your basics and more if you find you’ve forgotten anything and staff were lovely there.
We went with our friends who are all keen and experienced campers but it was my first time camping in over 20yrs and I really enjoyed it.

The ONLY thing I found challenging was locking the toilet doors as I have a broken wrist and found the latch mechanism difficult to pull shut and lock with one hand.

Great site, lovely open fields to play.
