Lovely level pitch and easy to access

Couldn’t link to the wide hose to refill water and it wasn’t long enough to reach the campervan

Location. Pub serving excellent food.

On arrival the large pitches (which we had booked and paid for) were all taken. There now appear to be a number of ‘permanent residents’ sited on these, this has changed to feel of the site, sadly for the worse, try muddy pitches, dog poo on pitches

A wonderful little site, everything you could need including small well kept toilet and shower facilities. The pitches were a good size and the place was pristine. Beautiful location and the hosts were extremely friendly.
We had a beautiful evening meal in the pub and my daughter was treated to a birthday surprise which was a lovely touch.

Unfortunately there were a few unwelcome guests in some of the pitches, we witnessed them pulling into available pitches the moment someone had left. The owners were extremely open and honest about the situation and the police were dealing with it. They did not disrupt our stay in anyway. Certainly not the owners fault, just one of those things unfortunately.

Big pitches, handy to be close to the pub with great food and good beer. Good access from the road.
Lots of birdsong and whilst near the main road, traffic noise isn't an issue. Sheep grazing next door.

Well spaced out site, pitches all well kept. Great location being at the back of the pub and lots of lovely walks nearby. Staff in the pub very helpful and food was lovely. Shower was great lovely and hot and great water pressure one of the best campsite showers we've had.

Could really do at least 1 separate toilet as at one point had to wait 20 minutes to use the loo as someone was showering. Also was tortured by the smell of back for the hotel guests (maybe offer breakfasts to campsite or at least breakfast rolls, would have made the wait for the toilet better)

Lovely country pub, friendly and helpful staff with great food

Liked its convenience for access to family near by and for eating in the Thames Head Inn

Limited facilities i.e. one toilet/shower room .

The site is great, it has all you need and the pub is friendly and serves the best food. Also dog friendly 😄

Pitches we're large and plenty of room

Great pitches, mostly level and gravel.
Some are close to the road but not that busy overnight.
Pub is great, good food and real ales.
Source of the Thames is about a 15 minutes walk crossing the railway line.

No emptying point for MH's so be prepared for bucketing waste water or bring an aquaroll. There is a waste hog for use in site but it is locked up so speak to the pub to use.
